Honestly the fun part of college is over and now I'm stuck just waiting to join the real world.

I'm watching glee and reliving all of my high school angst

The thing I hate about all my shows being on hiatus (OITNB, The Fosters, Teen Wolf, etc) is that I go through this extended amount of time without any LGBTQIA+ representation. I’ve literally seen all of the movies and the short films so I have nothing left but my shows.. I live for these shows that have such beautiful character development, that give me little but meaningful representation of my identity.

Things to do when someone comes out to you

Act surprised

Comfort them

Recognize their identity 

Love them

Thing to NOT do when someone comes out to you

Tell them that you already knew

Take away their identity

Treat them any less

When someone comes out to you they are trusting you with a piece of their identity. I cannot stress this enough, for the LGBTQIA+ community, our identity is everything, if we choose to share it with you it is a big deal and we want you to embrace it, not dismiss it as if it was something that everyone already had figured out. Sexuality is a spectrum and the only person who knows is that individual (not even) and anyone who they CHOOSE to tell. This has been a PSA.

I had a really emotional night so if I seem checked out for the next few days you’ve been warned. I just don’t know how I’m going to continue on like this for the rest of the year. What I once thought was complete, now has a gaping hole in it.

Lately I've felt even more disconnected than usual, like I'm not even alive or real

Goals:

I need to work on approaching guys that I find attractive, I'm way too passive when it comes to that stuff. Like I legit need to be upfront and be able to tell a guy that I wanna hit him up.
