Ribbed Cap
"I've really been enjoying knitting these ribbed caps, so as soon as I finished this (orange) one I cast on another from a dyed blank that I'd been given. It's a pretty dark gradient, so once I got the two strands separated I decided that after I knit the first four inches just from one end of one strand, that I would start helically knitting the rest of it using the opposite end of the second strand for contrast. I really like the way it's turned out. Now that I have a total of eight inches I'm ready to start knitting the crown decreases. I think the contrast will stay pretty consistent throughout the rest of the hat. This is the second strand (larger ball), and this is the first one I started with (smaller ball). So, now that I have recorded this and posted it, I can go knit decreases."
