All of this is sock yarn. Almost 90% of it was acquired after my great Sockpocalypse project during the pandemic. I have learned NOTHING.

Look at my feet, Don't look at my face. My socks are covered In outer space. SPACE SOCKS! I. AM WEARING. SPACE SOCKS.
My Sockpocalypse Summer:
Over the past 3 months of the COVID pandemic, I knit 10 pairs of socks to send out to friends all over the country. I honestly believe that if it were not for this very silly little project, my sanity would have flown out the window long ago.
Please do click on each link below, if you’re so inclined, to find out about the patterns, the yarns, the modifications, and my personal sock-knitting pet peeves and delights.
Part 1 - Waving Lace Socks
Part 2 - Go with the Flow Socks
Part 3 - Hot Tiki Flamingo Ribs
Part 4 - Shadow Braid Socks
Part 5 - Mountain Retro Ribs
Part 6 - Yarn Chicken Pomatomus
Part 7 - Mirkwood Socks
Part 8 - Raspberry Latte Lace
Part 9 - Earthbound
Part 10 - Finale Helix Socks
I have declared this my Sockpocalypse Summer. In part 9, I talk shit about a former employer, enjoy the idiosyncrasies of toe-up sock knitting, and gush a lot about my amazing friend, Amanda.
Pattern: Earthbound by Carissa Browning
Yarn: Knit Picks Tonal in Nature Walk (tragically discontinued)

I have declared this my Sockpocalypse Summer. In part 5, I made these twisted rib socks for my high school “big sister,” Cammie. Make sure you visit the blog to see more pictures and read about how this wonderful person became my friend, how sock patterns are better when they can be slouchable, and how I cannot seem to buy any yarn that a yarn company wants to continue to sell.
Pattern: Retro Rib Socks by Evelyn A. Clark, in the Interweave Favorite Socks book
Yarn: Knit Picks Stroll Tonal in Mountain Pass (sadly discontinued)

I don't go out in bare feet but I do go out in bear socks.
These pretzel socks perfectly represent my personality: twisted and salty. Eyyy.
Today I’m wearing t-rex socks. Why yes, I am an adult. Fun socks make me happy especially on a day like today. Things are going to get worse before they get better.
