Sofia was bored. And boredom and Sofia didn’t mix well; her typical solution was to go find a club, shake her ass and prey on some unsuspecting victim’s heart, but she had a new pesky problem in the form of a bodyguard. Ugh. Her dad had panicked over some death threat sent to him, like it was a shocker that someone out there wanted him dead, and she was stuck with the worst accessory in the world for the last few months. Tonight, though, she had the perfect solution for getting away. Careful not to ruin her dress, she climbed down the side of her house, scaling the siding easily even with the heels she wore. After all, she had plenty of practice with this when she was back in high school.
Landing on her feet in the soft grass, she quickly straightened up, a pleased smile on her lips that disappeared the second she saw the man in front of her. “Ah.” She groaned internally, lips dipping into a pout. “I don’t suppose you can pretend this didn’t happen?”
