Description
Sofonisba Anguissola (c. 1532– 16 November 1625), also known as Sophonisba Angussola or Sophonisba Anguisciola, was an Italian Renaissance painter born in Cremona to a relatively poor noble family. She received a well-rounded education that included the fine arts, and her apprenticeship with local painters set a precedent for women to be accepted as students of art. As a young woman, Anguissola traveled to Rome where she was introduced to Michelangelo, who immediately recognized her talent, and to Milan, where she painted the Duke of Alba. The Spanish queen, Elizabeth of Valois, was a keen amateur painter and in 1559 Anguissola was recruited to go to Madrid as her tutor, with the rank of lady-in-waiting. She later became an official court painter to the king, Philip II, and adapted her style to the more formal requirements of official portraits for the Spanish court. After the queen's death, Philip helped arrange an aristocratic marriage for her. She moved to Sicily, and later Pisa and Genoa, where she continued to practice as a leading portrait painter.

BACK AT IT AGAIN BABY!! More art of my baby when she still baby. I like to think that because of Donnie’s soft shell, he is protective over Sofi’s shell after finding out about her cracked shell. While her shell was healing, he would sleep on top of her to protect and be her shell for her, similar to how I HC his brothers would do to him.
Mikey is just happy to not be the youngest/shortest anymore. He still loves his lil sis and is super protective of her as she heals. He was probably the first one to help her come up with their sign language to help her communicate with the others.
To stay kinda close to the original canon of the movie and not mess with the timeline too much, I made it so Casey did not recognize Sofonisba because she was never one of his “masters” in the future. When the Kraang first arrived Sofonisba sacrificed herself so that April and the four could all escape. Because of this Casey never met Sofi and therefore doesn’t recognize her.
I’ll probably make a Lil angsty comic about the turtles figuring out what Casey implied by not recognizing their baby sister. Maybe even a little bit of… death scare? Near death experience? Who knows what the future holds 😈
I know I made a lot of changes in my Kunoichi AU but the most important things stay practically the same. XD

Dla tych, którzy nie zdążyli kupić biletów na wystawę Vermeera, holenderska nagroda pocieszenia – wystawa Sofonisby w Rijksmuseum Twenthe w Enschwede, wspaniały przegląd dorobku artystki. Portrety jej autorstwa wzbudzały i wzbudzają zachwyt i emocje. Młodzieńczymi rysunkami Sofonisby zachwycił się wiekowy Michał Anioł. Dziewczynka z Cremony szybko została zawodową malarką, portrecistką królów, i…
