the holiday season is coming up, and mami wants to go out and buy gifts for her friends - this includes bebe. obviously, this means she needs time to go out, buy all her gifts, then wrap them, so she invokes bebe's cycle.
next on the cycle is homura. unfortunately, homura is busy with an important research project and can't spare the time to watch bebe. she agrees to bebesit twice in a row, as per the rules of bebe's cycle, which means it's sayaka's turn next.
sayaka had intended to go shopping today as well, but agrees to bebesit. kyoko will do her shopping that day instead, so everything worked out for her in the end.
sayaka is always prepared for a random bebe visit. her fridge is well stocked with numerous cheeses, much to bebe's delight - the only caveat sayaka places is that bebe can only choose one cheese to sample at a time. bebe reluctantly agrees, knowing that disagreeing would just cause a pain for everyone.
sayaka prepares a grand platter covered with sample sizes of all of bebe's known favorites, in addition to a few yet unseen. bebe has her loves, but what she loves most is a chance at something brand new. she's practically vibrating in her chair as sayaka asks what she'd like to try first.
bebe had TOTALLY forgotten that she had agreed to have only one at a time.
she deflated a bit, but popped right back up and called for her all time favorite:
sayaka chuckles and carefully removes the prepared camembert from the platter, and places it on the plate before bebe, who looks over it with awe and glee before digging in, eating bite after bite of the sample, but she doesn't eat the whole thing. she holds up the last little chunk to sayaka, who happily accepts the offering.
the sampling continues until the whole platter is finished. sayaka had to stop accepting the last pieces that bebe saved for her because she did not have the metabolism of a witch. there was still time before mami would come back to pick bebe up, so sayaka took the well-fed witch to the TV, where they watched cooking shows until the doorbell rang.
