Glas feels an insecure in my eyes. He's desperate for you because he's insecure about your feelings for him. So he's trying to get as much affection as he can while he has you in his sights. He fears that as soon as you're gone you might be too surrounded by other demons or too busy with other matters to give him affection again...
Idk if this is a weird interpretation of how he's acting in the latest chapter. I think it's sweet and adorable to go this direction with him. This vulnerability not something I expected from his character and it's something I rather enjoy from such a big intimidating presence
Now this perspective of Glas is what I like for characters like him. While I do poke fun at him being so "hey look at me, please..." I like to think that he feels he can be that way with you because he can't anywhere else.
All anyone sees is "big gloomy devil that likes instigating issues and he could easily crush me in a second" when really all he wants is for someone to just talk to, be around, get his dark humor, and be his favorite. It's not fair that Leviathan gets all the attention for being small, beautiful, blessed with looks he thinks he doesn't have (Glas is very handsome). We love a big ol' softie around these parts and your interpretation was great, don't worry anon.
