Cela dit, malgré océans ou parfois même courtes distances qui malheureusement nous séparent & empêchent de nous rencontrer, je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi si peu intervienne, se manifeste ni n’entame de discutions. Depuis le temps je m’attendais ou espérais avoir & nouer en effet des rapprochements & confidences ou liens, disons plus discrets & privés susceptibles un jour d’entamer d’éventuelles relations plus intimes & duveteuses ? First of all, a huge thank you to all the enthusiasts (and sometimes talented knitters?) and other fans who are addicted to soft wool, fuzzy angora & downy mohair yarns. Thank you to all my subscribers who follow and appreciate, it seems, my thoughts & fantasies, my envious ravings, and my unequivocal comments!

On this subject, I invite you (if you haven't already done so) to find out more about my HISTORY, my CAREER, my dreams, hopes, and desires by reading THE ORIGIN OF MY INSATIABLE PASSION FOR... That said, despite the oceans or sometimes even the short distances that unfortunately separate us and prevent us from meeting, I still don't understand why so little is happening, why no one is coming forward or initiating discussion. For a long time, I have been waiting or hoping to establish connections & confidences or bonds, let's say more discreet and private ones, which could one day lead to more intimate & fluffiest relationships ? The Universal Yarn Problem

Some people collect postcards. I collect yarn( like most knitters). Laceweight mohair, 8/4 cotton, random skeins of variegated wool that don’t match anything I own. I always tell myself I’ll use them “eventually,” which, in knitting time, means maybe five years from now. There’s something addictive about the textures and colors—even when I have zero plans for them (and five skeins cost 50$). My next goal is to actually knit the yarn I own before adopting more. (Key word: try.)

Knitting takes forever but it’s always helpful to try and plan out my next project (is what I like to tell myself when buying new yarn).

another throwback to some wheel spun mohair, the softest fiber to ever possibly exist. despite being soooo slippery to spin, the result is so worth it.

this fiber came fresh off the goat and took me two days to separate from the undercoat shavings, pluck out all the farm grass…. and wash out the oils. but it was such a good excuse to sit outside and soak in the sun while I did it.
