     the call clicks through as inho chants ‘ i wanna die, i wanna die, i wan — ’ but even before the help desk person on the other side gets a word in, the medical student is going off. “ oh my god, please you have to save me. no one can save me now, i’m going to get skinned alive if i don’t get this out, please oh my god, help me. ” inho stares at the black screen of death and sees his trembling reflection, the light of his phone shining just a small corner of his face where it’s pressed tight to his ears. he looks horrible and he feels worse but that’s not the point. “ please, save my laptop, i don’t have anymore time and i still have a conclusion paragraph to write if i can even retrieve it, oh my god, i’m going to die. i knew it, i knew this would happen, ah! ” inho trails off into a miserable scream, on the verge of sobbing entirely. of course, of course the world would screw him over when it counts.

Yejin&Noel

It was a normal, winter day. The mini, portable fireplace was on, up just enough to keep the majority of Yejin’s living room warmed up. Her Samoyed, Mandu was playing with a toy in his own dog bed in the corner. There was holiday music on, but only as background noise, as she didn’t want it to be too distracting while they were reading together. It wasn’t often that the girl would find someone as into reading as she was, so when Noel told her that he loved reading, she saw him as an angel sent from above, and she’d told him as much. Shifting only slightly so as not to disturb him due to him using a pillow on her lap to keep comfy, one hand came down from her book and rested on the young man’s head, carefully carding through the locks. “Your hair’s really soft.”

❝ it looks like you have a problem with that.❞  he exclaimed, his tone snarky and harsh as he stood with his arms folded across his chest.  his tongue darting out soon after to moisten his lesser lip, his greater one alike and the corners of his lips then quirked up slightly in a bit of a nasty smirk towards the other.

a lil something for @softbci​​ !

     he blends in with the general student population surprisingly well, hoodie sleeves pulled over bruised and split knuckles, a patch of stained gauze peeking out along the soft neckline of the garment. he makes sure to pull the hoodie closer, adjusting it so it’s out of sight, hidden. otherwise, chae yisoo looks just like a college student, waiting for a friend perhaps. the fighter spots him easily enough; sook is outstandingly tall after all. he waves to catch the other’s attention and crosses the rest of the distance to him. “ if you’re done for the day, we could get something to eat? was in the area and felt generous. ” it’s a casual offer; yisoo was just trying his luck but he’s pretty sure sook’s classes are done.

          she  was  incredibly  embarrassed  that  she  hadn’t  noticed ;  after  all ,  having  a  sizeable  streak  of  paint  across  your  face  was  not  the  most  flattering  first  impression  with  a  stranger .       ❝  i  promise  i’m  not  like  this  all  the  time ,  ❞     she  insisted ,  her  voice  sheepish .      ❝  i  guess  i  just  forgot  to  look  in  the  mirror  before  i  left .  ❞
