Blueberries for breakfast,
Summer rushes, it's too soon.
The gentle breeze that brushes the skin
And a humming that's out of tune.

Blueberries for breakfast,
Summer rushes, it's too soon.
The gentle breeze that brushes the skin
And a humming that's out of tune.
Sorry it's been a while since I've posted, I haven't written any valuable poetry in months.
I put my hands up to my cheeks
When I am trying to fall alseep
It's been such a long hard week
And I don't know what to do
I have to hum a soft sweet tune
One that reminds me of you
I do it to relieve and sooth
But I'm afraid it cant carry without you
When sun shines
And I see my reflection,
A pretty smile
painted.
A gentle call
From the mourning dove gently
Guides me in another direction.
March 30th, 2026
Painted words
and a deafening silence
one could only dream of.
Creaking wooden pyre
for a lifestyle that
she once nearly consumed
in it's entirety.
Or, maybe it ate her up,
secretly biting away at the thighs
while keeping glazed eyes up, and steady.
Creeping up until there was nothing left but bone.
Now, she is
let out, recluse.
And the bones, they creak.
And they ache
With little sense
For what once was.

You warm me up like rays of sun in early autumn morning
and I am a
chilled pale cheek that feels numb to the hand,
the chill of a winter night.
your hazel eyes, are forgiveness
and would be
salvation.
Seeing you in dreams,
a glimpse into a different life,
a picture of us.
Oh, how it all changes-
when eyes flutter open,
and reality hits, sinking the stomach.
the quiet, the quiet, the quiet, the quiet,
the morning, the morning, the morning.

Can soulmates be
a girl and her dog?
Through life, and the bitter after
Carrying the memory
Between fur and weeping eyes
Sweet memories of a different time
And still
leaving space at the foot of the bed.

I pray you find yourself
calling my name
in the dark, after a nightmare,
unsure if I'd still come.
When you flip the switch,
the light glares and
like me, you'll find yourself
waiting for the sun.
