I'm seeing some doubters among the fandom going all anti Rhett saying that he doesn't genuinely love Link and I'm like y'all are blind.

So what's your favorite "Rhett is so in love" RandL moments to refute their claims?

But no, honestly, even platonically Rhett loves him so much.

There's the river story.. [x]

Listening to the recording of child Link's giggles.. [x]

Including Link on his mind map.. [x]

Realizing he'd die for him.. [x]

Looking like he's proposing while earnestly trying to renew their blood oath.. [x]

Being so happy to be back in the studio together after quarantine and making a cookie dough birthday panini for Link.. [x]

Making sure Link is okay during the charity livestream ear piercing...

Helping him when he broke his collarbone (and being so frustrated about not being able to touch his shoulder when he's excited about something)

Protecting him all the time [x/x/x/x]

And thinking everything he does is just the coolest most fascinating thing [x]

hi, I just wonder if you will continue writing a Softest Touch?

Hi Nonnie! (and everyone else who is wondering, I guess)

Let’s start with: Yes, I’m still writing Softest Touch

But... It will be slow progress.

Currently, the second half of Chapter 24 is whooping my ass, but I hope I’ll get it out this month. 💙

Basically, I’m a really slow writer. Most of Slightest Touch and Softest Touch was written in drafts in 2018 to 2020, allowing me to update more or less twice a month after I started posting. But these ran out halfway through Softest Touch and now I have barely anything to fall back on, which meant it was Snail Speed from then on.

Also, with life picking up speed and not allowing me to hole into my room for days to an end and me finishing my studies this year (yeah, master thesis, please don’t hurt my nerves too much...) my time to create has also dwindled down to what feels like nothing.

Still, I’ll finish this story because I hate walking away from unfinished business and it would nag me till my dying day, but even though it’s only 4 more chapters (at least currently planned...) it will still take me some time to get to the end of this.

picture me with heart eyes the entire time I read the first chapter of Softest Touch... it’s so good 🥰

Okay, I suppose I've hidden this ask away for long enough, right? But I didn't want to part with it, because it made me so happy 🥺🥺🥺 

However as apology I give you a little sneak peak into Chapter 2: 

On Sunday Bucky realized that he had forgotten one very important thing when he saw Pietro and Wanda stare at him accusingly in Clint’s house “So when were you going to tell us, you were dating Steve?” 

Oops. “I, uh, I- sorry? It’s still new?” “

Be happy that I think you are adorable,” Wanda rolled her eyes and pinched his cheeks. 

But Pietro wasn’t that easily mollified. “I love you and all, Bucky, but on Sunday mornings your man has a date with me, are we clear?” 

“Crystal,” Bucky said with a sheepish smile. 

“Good, fine. He better treat you right, you hear me? I told him earlier, that I’m faster than him, so he better behave.” 

“Or he’ll drag him to me. I have sharp knives in the kitchen!” Wanda grinned scarily. 

Protective baby siblings were adorable, but Bucky wasn’t going to say that out loud, lest Pietro would drag him to a date with Wanda's knives.

just saw the new update notification but I have two hours of work left :( :( :( opening my email was a MISTAKE because this is all I'm going to think about until I get off

Oh, sweety I’m so soooooorry. I never post this early, do I? Well, that would mean I would post and that I did not do in the past month. Shame on me!

Funnily enough, I got this finished today because my boss told me I didn’t need to come in. So I used that time for writing. 

But the next chapter will still be there when you get off from work. Or tomorrow, or the weekend ❤️
