The highlight of my trips to Thailand are ALWAYS the soi dogs. The people are so amazing, sweet and as friendly as people could be. But the DOGS though... They have my heart. It's a battle in my heart every time I am with them. I want to save them all. I cry when I see the broken legs, the missing eyes & legs, the fleas and mange. I want to take them all away from this crazy land when I see them dodging motorbikes and people shooing them away with sticks and rocks. I want to scream at the people who do not care for them and hug the loving people that feed them and dare to pet them. But one thing I realized is that this wild world is all these dogs know. They were born on the streets and raised in packs and form gangs for family and protection. They have an innate will to survive. I appreciate these animals for their strength and the love they still can have in their heart despite their circumstances. Feeling sad for them does nothing good for their situation. All I can do is love them, feed them and educate people around the world of their life. I will always protect, rescue, care for and adorn these Thailand soi dogs. I love them forever. Please adopt and rescue animals. Never ever breed them or shop for them. One less dog on the street can make a huge dent in this world. We as humans have an obligation to love and protect them.
