WHAT I GOTTA DO FOR SOMEONE TO WRITE A MASTER SOL FANFICTION, LIKE PLEASE IM BEGGING
GUYS HE'S TOO FINE NOT TO WRITE ABOUT ‼️‼️‼️
I know there’s going to be some disagreement and discourse over what happened on Brendok (I am for the record in the camp of poor decisions were made on both sides from misunderstanding which in the real world has a lot of historical precedence) but I think a huge factor is of course attachment and how the Jedi handle it. The Jedi are so stringent when it comes to attachment that whenever it becomes a factor in any Jedi’s life it always ends badly, and it’s not because attachment is bad, it’s because the Order doesn’t teach the Jedi Healthy attachments. Rather than teaching them it’s okay to form attachments and how to do it in a healthy way the Jedi Order just decided it was banned and moved on. So whenever a Jedi forms any sort of attachment (Anakin, Dooku, and now Sol) it always ends poorly because they don’t know how to deal with those feelings.
In short Legends Luke was right allowing Jedi to form attachments in a healthy way because it brought down issues with the Jedi by like 400%.
