We made our way through the Maze until "mr. Percy I-can-do-everything" crossed a suspicious tunnel. Rachel and I warned him, but he wanted to go in anyway. He took Annabeth's Yankees cap and walked down. I stayed behind with the girls, which couldn't stop fighting, the only thing they agreed upon, was walking after Percy. Which turned out to be a good thing. Percy literally faced Luke aka Kronos in Luke's body. I can't remember everything clearly but Rachel smashed her hairbrush into his Eye while we ran off. I screamed "No" and clapped my hands together and a jagged spire of rock, the size of an eighteen-wheeler, erupted from the ground right in front of the fortress. The building started to collapse. While we ran off I pulled one of Percys arm over my shoulder, he still felt very dizzy. As soon as we were kind of save, Percy told me that I "gave myself away" that I revealed myself as a son of Hades. (Which would make Luke/Kronos very interested in me) I tried to act cool but inside I was frightened. I just saw the titan lord and I felt his almost unlimited powers. I didn't want someone like that as my enemy.

"Don't talk to my sister that way!" I said to Dr. Thorn after he called Bianca an insufferable girl. He's lead us out of the gym, away from the dancing and laughing kids. We went through something like a magic door and then we were standing on a cliff, it was snowing. Dr. Thorn called someone, Luke, as I know now. After a short word fight. Percy tried to attack him, he stepped in front of us, holding up his sword. He was like my favourite game, Mysthomagic, brought to life. I couldn't stop staring on him, even though Bianca tried to put me behind her back. But the son of Poseidon was to beautiful to look away. His sword was glowing, every muscle in Percy's body was strained, his dark hair waved in the freezing cold wind. Some snowflakes fell on Percy's eyelashes and he looked so perfect I thought I'd have to die. Well, then everything went kind of wrong. Annabeth pushed all of us into the snow while she was wearing her invisible hat. Grover and Thalia tried to attack Dr. Thorn from behind. It escalate into a huge fight. I can't remember all the details. (don't blame me. I was 10 and full of sweets from the prom) But I remember how Dr. Thron turned into a manticore and I said something like "he's got three thousand attack power and plus five to saving throw" which probably helped just EVERYONE in this situation. Then the forest lesbians- I mean the hunters of Artemis arrived and saved us and Annabeth threw herself off of the cliff together with Thorn the manticore. (probably to practice for a another cliff jump she would do in a few years with percy🤷🏻‍♂️)

I managed to convince Percy to let us shadowtravel, he did pretty well, no unconsciousness, no throwing up. I was kind of impressed. I just stumbled but Percy caught my arm. My whole body felt strange, even tho I was tired I felt the adrenaline. "I'm okay" I said, rubbing my eyes. Mrs O'leary fell asleep, which was earned, she carried herself and Percy.

Speaking of him, Mr. no patience already started to ask new questions, where are we, how I did all these nasty things. "We ring the doorbell." I said. Percy looked at me confused, but it was nothing compared to the moment Ms. Castellan opened the door, screamed "LUKE" and hugged me. I went stiff but she didn't hold me to long, she was already hugging Percy and also called him Luke, and said that we should come inside because lunch was ready...

"Is that...is that blue birthday cake?" I asked, my stomach growled. I just showed up at Percy's window. I saw him planting a strange plant. It looked like the moon. I told him about Daedelus and that I probably found a way to defeat Luke, and that it would probably be the only way to do so. But before I could tell him, I got distracted by the nice looking cake.

Percy smiled. "Come inside for cake and ice cream. It sounds like we've got a lot to talk about"

The battle ended for me, when I passed out. I woke up a few minutes later, Percy was bending over me, in his hand was a canteen. "Nico, what happened? Can you talk?" My mouth tasted like my favourite sweets. I nodded, I still felt pretty weak. He helped me to sit up, the grass around me died and the ground cracked at some spots. "Never tried to summon so many before. I-I'll be fine"

I blinked and then I focused on something, someone behind Percy. "Daedelus." I croaked. "Yes, my boy," he said "I made a very bad mistake. I came to correct it" He had a few scratches that were bleeding golden oil, but he looked better then the most demigods around me. Percy, Annabeth Daedelus and I talked for quite a bit. Percy got Daedelus' Hellhound Mrs O'leary. And Daedelus himself offered me to take his soul, as ranson for my sisters. But I refused "I will help you release your spirit. But Bianca has passed. She must stay where she is" "Well done, son of Hades. You are becoming wise"

I smirked a little. I held up my hand and said "Your time is long since come. Be released and rest"

Daedelus smiled while he became transparent and then turned to grey ash and disintergrated.

"Go without me! I don't want to go back to camp anyway!" I said after the pegasi kept shying away from me. Just a few hours earlier, we found Tyson and Grover in the Maze....Grover lead us to the nature god Pan...who died. But now we need to head back to Camp, to warn it about Luke's army. But like I said, the pegasi seemed to hate me, like most animals do. "Nico," Percy said, "We need you!" I crossed my arms and scowled.

But then Annabeth interupted. "Nico, please!" a thought crossed my mind, my sister gave her life to save this girl. Slowly, my expression softened. "All right. For you. But I'm not staying." Percy gave her a strange look, but she just stuck her tongue out at him.

A day after the battle I went to the forest and met my Sister. She smiled softly and proud. She now looked like how I remembered her. In her dress, with open hair and her hat. "You did perfectly" she said and tried to touch my cheek but her hand flickered. It was our goodbye. When I turned around I saw Percy. "Saying goodbye" I said hoarsely. "We missed you at dinner. You could've sat with me" He offered. "No" I replied. He talked about how I can't miss every meal and if I didn't want to stay with the Hermes dudes that it would be fine, they would find a place for me in the big house. But I told him I wouldn't stay at all. He argued that it would be too dangerous alone that I needed training. But I said I would train with the dead. I told him that I didn't belong here, like Hades doesn't belong to the Olymp and that I was sorry for being a brat, but that I needed to leave right now because I had questions and want to find answers. He forgave me and pulled out the Hades figurine.

"I don't play the game anymore. It's for kids" I hesitated. "it's got four thousand attack power" Percy coaxed. "Five thousand. But only if your opponent attacks first" I corrected. He smiled and tossed me the statue. "Maybe it's okay to still be a kid every once in a while"

I waited and then slipped the figurine into my pocket. "Thanks" I said before I walked away.

A long time ago I already told the story of my life. Now I think it's time to go through all of it again.
