JEALOUS WILL TIME BAYBYYYYYY!
Nico is a freaking gorgeous human being. (ask my about underworld sibling hcs i beg). Simultaneously creepy and alluring. High cheek bones, gaunt features, dark eyes that stare straight into your soul, that sort of thing. He doesn't look quite human and GEEZ it's undeniably stunning.
Nico, however, is incredibly and horribly unaware of this.
Will was not the only teenager to look at the emo BAMF and decide "oh yeah that's It."
After the three days in the infirmary, Nico is invited back to help Will around- Nico can sense people dying and it's really, really nice to have someone there to confirm that your patients and friends will Not be dying any time soon. Buuutttt, Will is not the only one to notice how beautiful Nico is. There's a few kids in there who's breath will catch, face will flush when Nico checks over them to make sure they're not in impending doom or whatever. And Will finds himself staring at Nico, waiting for his reaction, because surely he must have seen that. But no. Nico's stone faced, looking unaware. Does he not care? Is he just used to that reaction? Will's mind runs a hundred miles a minute trying to figure it out.
And that's sort of where Will's jealousy blooms from. Nico is Stunning and other people have Eyes. And Nico is so, so oblivious.
Will is also jealous of Nico's friends. He talks to those kids. Willingly spends time with them. Hides by their sides when other people are too loud and too much. Nico can't even look at Will without having to take a step away. (these boys really are so dense)
When Will gets jealous, he gets pouty. Shoulders-slumped-frowning-looking-like-a-kicked-puppy Pouty.
Watching Nico laugh at something Jason said, eyes twinkling and face slightly flushed. Will pouts. Watching Nico try to help a camper with their Cause of Injury form, but the camper can hardly speak while they're stumbling over their words and shifting around, stuck under Nico's gorgeous, see-into-you gaze. Will pouts.
This clears up really easily, though, when he realizes that Nico is just socially inept. Nico can't make eye contact with Will cause he's autistic and also horribly gay, not cause he doesn't like Will. Nico doesn't react to other campers' flustered states because he doesn't see it, not because he's used to wreaking havoc on someone's heart.
Give Will a hug, or maybe a shiny rock that looked cool, and boom he's better
