Somebody put a lot of love and affection into this design. Glad to hear that Jane Fonda put her heart into this, too, since she could have easily just phoned it in. That said, for a few reasons, I likely won't watch Luck, but from the clips I saw on Tiktok, I was hopeful somebody would have braved it enough for me to make this post.

its not a real human but the german navigation voice from google maps sounds like an american who learned german in bavaria. It's pretty funny listening to her slip into accents when she tries pronouncing street or town names

i still haven’t arrived where you have, though that might partly be because i don’t live in germany anymore and only really speak german to my relatives or when i’m visiting. but even then calling myself “lesbisch” seems fraught, the only thing i can get past my lips without flinching is “schwul”

“lesbe” has been nothing but an insult my entire life and using it for myself seems completely removed from reality. i’ve heard it spat too often, or whispered meaningfully in That Tone Of Voice. it was always used by every single person in my life as a way to mark the undesirables, and the idea that it could ever be a neutral descriptor of my sexuality is unfathomable to me, because i haven’t heard it said out loud in a positive context ever.

Eine Letsplayerin die ich mag ist Marlene M. Sie ist eine ältere Dame die sich die juten alten point'n'click adventures vorgenommen hat, allen voran die Kings Quest Reihe. Sie ist eine wunderbare Vorleserin und es ist so chillig ihr dabei zuzuhören wie sie praktisch das ganze Spiel für die Zuschauer im Märchenerzählerstil übersetzt. Leider macht sie seit einiger Zeit keine Videos mehr aber ich habe alle genossen, weil es grade so verschieden von anderen als Let's plays ist.
