As to celebrate pride month, my pride headcanons for everyone<3 (Whaaaattt I didn't just make the entire solar system aroace?! Shock!!)

Sun - Aroace. He does not understand romance. He does not care for romance. He also does not care for gender. He just got called he and rolled with it. (I don't remember what that was called-....)

Mercury - Unlabeled! He got tired of labels, these ones included. (And he couldn't decide qwq) queer!

Venus - Transmasc<3 however, Mercury and Earth have no idea, he transitioned before those two were born.

Earth - Aroace! Buuut he still enjoys the occasional kiss or other stuff platonically from time to time. (He and Mars kiss as bros I will die on that hill) so a bonus pan<3

Luna - Aroace. And I somehow decided he's disgusted by romance. He probably wouldn't be but the thought cracks me up.

Mars - Ace! I mean....... look at him qwq

Jupiter - Bi and demisexual! (A headcanon I lovingly stole from DreamieArts<33) my shayla ejwusk

Saturn: Gay. 100% gay. And he does not care if he's seen as male or female. He often gets mistaken for a girl on Earth's surface. Or a drag queen. He loves it.

Uranus - Aroace and pan! He had one burst of attraction and then never again. (Said burst of attraction was soothed and disappeared the second he ate. He was hungry)

Neptune - Guys guys you will never guess...... aroace! Shocker I know. He does not care for romance he cares about his beloveds.

Planet X - Aroace. Hear me out on this him flirting with Uranus was him trying to be his friend. After all, his only example of "friendship" were Jupiter and Saturn. He genuinely had no idea he'd been flirting with him and was shocked when he was told.

What Their Favorite Earthlings (Animals) Are PT. 1 (Planets Edition!)

Mercury loves birds, but especially hummingbirds. They will never not fascinate him. Same with virtually ANY fast bird (falcons, hawks, etc...)

Venus loves things like vipers (especially horned vipers) and praying mantis'. Though he also has a soft spot for dogs, especially puppies. But of course big tough Venus can't say that...

Earth loves all of his animals (+humans. sometimes...), but peacocks and elephants are his favorites.

Mars is obsessed with the Arabian Sand Boa (this snake is honestly why I'm writing these). Ever since he found out about it, he spends at least 1 hour daily looking at pictures of them and giggling.

Jupiter loves highland cattle, brown bears (they remind him of himself and his moons), and great earred nightjars (dragon bird, what more is there to say?).

Saturn loves doves/pigeons (especially the zebra and mourning doves), jellyfish, and sunfish (mola mola). When Earth told him how the last two are seen as "useless" and can't feel anything + are bullied by other animals, Saturn was inconsolable. ("SO THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL AND PRECIOUS THEY ARE???" "Not...really..." "WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THIS!?")

Uranus loves any animals that aren't taken seriously or are seen as useless/pests. Rodents, racoons, you name it. Except spiders. They can fuck off in the other direction and do what they do FAR away from him.

Neptune, shocking no one, loves sharks and other marine/ocean life. He will also defend the goblin shark and telescope fish with his LIFE. If someone mentions anything bad about sharks, he will dropkick them on the spot. How does he know how to do that? Eh. Who knows.

Earth headcanon:

Earth feels whenever someone or something dies, every person, every animal, and every plant. every suicide, every homicide, genocide and every natural cause, he feels it all. He's learned to get used to it because its constantly happening every. Single. Second of every day but it still hurts.

Solarballs “Half-Species” Headcanons!

“half-species” refers to what mythical creature or animal each planet has. Usually, the “genes” for these mutate a lot to achieve a diverse range of species. (Ex. bird types and aquatic types in one solar system.) Sol’s (Sun) solar system is one with many mutations, some other systems may not have as much. The following list is in order of mutations in the “magic” genes.

Sun (Sol) : “Light” Spirit. Basically, an entity or being made of pure light.

Jupiter : “Light” Spirit. His magic genes were directly copied from Sol’s, no mutations have occurred.

X : “Dark” Spirit. Basically the opposite of Jupiter and Sol. Minor mutations have occurred.

Saturn : Snake or a type of reptile. First major mutation.

Neptune : Aquatic creature or shark. Second major mutation. (Minor than Saturn’s.)

Uranus: Simple feathered creature, or a bird. Beginning of ‘Feathered Mutations.’

Mercury : Simple feathered creature. Direct copy of Uranus. Second ‘Feathered Mutation.’ (in genes)

Venus : Phoenix. Slight genetic mutation.

Theia : Angelic creature. Genes of Jupiter and Uranus merges. (Third Major mutation.)

Mars : (his genes were mutated from Neptune’s, not Uranus’ like the others) “Alien” or humanoid

Proto : Takes from Mars. Humanoid.

Below is a sort of tree to display how the genes would’ve evolved and changed as the planets were forming. (Apologies for how messy it is)

Since Earth formed after Theia and Proto collided, and is mostly Proto, he takes more of the humanoid genes from Proto, however still maintains very minimal angelic aspects from Theia.

Moons are typically not born with a mutation. They are given one by their planet. The moons species does not have to match with the planet. For example, Jupiter’s “A Team” (Ganymede, Europa, Callisto and IO) all agreed to keep the basic humanoid counterpart as an oppose to adopting Jupiter’s “Spirit” counterpart. But some planets can give their moons a species counterpart before the moon is fully formed. For example, Neptune’s smaller moons (So all moons excluding Triton) were given an aquatic creature counterpart before they were even fully formed.

Dwarf’s are usually born humanoid, but can request to gain a counterpart from the Sun.

I have a few!!! I really like learning about moons so....

Saturnian

-Phoebe is the big sister to all the Norse group. She's the closest big moon to them, and as a result sort of made herself act older than she really is because they needed someone

-Alongside that, Phoebe has chronic pain. The moon Phoebe used to be spherical, but because of how many collisions it was in it's no longer spherical. On Earth's surface she has crutches

-Helene, Calypso, Telesto, and Polydeuces are Dione and Tethys' trojan moons. They're all Velcro siblings, and don't like being apart from their older siblings for long

-Saturn's three moons Methone, Anthe, and Pallene are thought to have come from Mimas' collision. They like to follow around their big brother like little ducklings

-Saturn's shepherd moons are terrified of him after learning they're maintaining rings made from a moon. Whenever he looks too close to his rings they all scatter

-Pan is a hyper moon, Daphnis is selectively mute and obsessed with tea parties, and Atlas is bad with emotions and collects rocks

-Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati are obsessed with wolves. They're named after wolf gods after all

-Ymir and Skathi hover and follow Phoebe and Iapetus because they want to be like their older siblings. Ymir wants to help Phoebe around because there's "210 Norse moons and only one Phoebe!"

-Janus and Epimetheus are identical twins! They swap orbits whenever they want to borrow items from one another

-Pandora learned about Chrysalis' identity, and she's the one to reveal it to the other shepherds. Based on her name, Pandora is an overly curious moon

-Prometheus likes science! He's the one to help figure out who Chrysalis is through data samples and other stuff. He asked Earth about a lot of it

-Also, an in general headcanon for shepherd moons of every planet is that they can't stay awake outside their orbits! Because of how much time is spent maintaining the rings and pushing rocks out of their orbit, whenever they're out of orbit, they're too tuckered out to do anything

Jovian

-Jupiter's moon Carme has an issue with being a captured object. She's not upset about it; she's scared of being out of place in her system and not being good enough to be a Jovian moon. She asks the other captured objects how they feel about it a lot which isn't helpful because most of them don't care

-Carme's also a giant nerd, she has glasses with the thickest prescription

-His moon "Megaclite" goes by Meg because she got bullied on Earths surface

-Adrastea hides behind Metis, she was there the whole time in the show we just never saw her

-Himalia remembers being whole before the asteroid broke. I named the asteroid the Himalia group is from "Hestia" because that was the original nickname for her!

-She also paints she keeps it a secret. No one knows about it

-Ananke once got in trouble for trying to pierce his little siblings ears

-Pasiphae is not a pacifist he's the opposite. He likes to try to fight celestials bigger than him

-Valetudo loves superman, she's obsessed with him and wants to be just like him. When Carme asked how she felt about being a captured object she said: "I'm Superman :)"

-Themisto's shy, he once got trapped against an asteroid and no one knew for a full Jupiter day because he didn't want to bug anyone

-Kore was named after Persephone because Jupiter knew she'd be a troublemaker. She's the sweetest, but just can't help but accidentally wander off

-All of the smaller Jovian moons have the thickest southern accents imaginable it's really cute

Uranian

-Puck's a trickster, but all of his pranks are harmless

-Rosalind's the most extroverted out of all of Uranus' moons, but has the same social battery as the rest of them

-Desdemona is obsessed with horror. Juliet watches horror movies with her despite Juliet having a weak stomach to that sort of stuff and overall having really bad anxiety

-Sycorax is similar in personality to Neptune because of how far her orbit is from everyone else. She's completely secluded from the other Uranian moons

-Cordelia and Ophelia have a big staring problem

-Ferdinand is the biggest sweetheart ever, him and Cupid love clinging to all of their siblings

-Portia's aware of what'll happen to her group, but she hasn't told anyone. She wants to live in blissful ignorance and be a kid while she still can

-All of them love art and are good at it in some way

-They have mittens sewed onto their sleeves because all of Uranus' moons gained the same stress habit he did-picking at his feathers. Their planet doesn't want them to be balding

-Cressida loves cameras but accidentally had the flash on once and flash banged Uranus when trying to take a photo of him

-Stephano, Prospero, Setebos, and Caliban are afraid of being forgotten. They're so far from Uranus and are already barely studied

-Trinculo tells jokes but forgets the punchlines

Neptunian

-S/2021 N1 was only found because Neptune could hear her crying. Because it's the furthest from its planet in the entire solar system, he wasn't able to find her when she first formed

-S/2002 N5 is bad with directions. He almost got lost in his orbit once, so Neptune makes sure to keep an eye on him

-As the two youngest in the system, they're normally just tucked away in Neptune's pocket. That's why they're not in the show

Okay so... I've been asked a while ago, so here is some headcanons. for Galilean moons because I love them way too much. But a few involve Titan and Jupiter

Back when Io and Europa were very young, they had extreme pains due to tectonic activity (they still do, but it's was unbearable back them). In return, it led to the fact Jupiter had to focus on them and in a way ignore Ganymede and Callisto.

Clarification is that Jupes felt absolutely terrible about it. He didn't just forget about his bigger moons, and did his best to get them involved whenever Io or Europa had an easy day. But between sick and healthy moons, he had to prioritize those with bad condition.

But it did affect them, ironically in completely opposite ways. Ganymede decided that if he can't get attention he will FORCE it upon himself! He will stand in the front stage, he will turn the light onto himself, he will make them adore him, until nobody can look away. While Callisto pushed out and became isolated. And by extension, Ganymede's behavior worsened her being neglected, because of how much spotlight he took. Essentially making it seem that they were in, while Callisto wasn't

Callisto is generally feeling some jealousy to Ganymede. Not about his size, she couldn't care less about being the biggest moon. But... they are simular size and mass, simular composition. Except that Ganymede formed a bit faster, melted a bit more. Got just a bit lucky. While Callisto is stuck as underdeveloped indifferentiated body

Ganymede was so obsessed with strenght, to the point of believing that weakness meant you were worthless. He applied this logic to himself but also to everyone else. Which is exactly why he treated small moons the way he did. They're tiny, they are weak. He wouldn't deserve any basic rights too if he was small. And the worst part was that he genuinely believed everyone was the same. His core was blown when he found out he's the only one to think this way

Jupiter actually used to have massive anger issues when he was young. But the Grand Tackle made him so terrified of himself to the point where he was afraid to even be angry. What if he gets out of control and hurts someone again? His major moons inherited it tho. So don't get on their nerves

Titan does have some form of disordered eating. Hugely because he grew up with all moons much smaller and had no idea how much he's meant to eat. But also because he wanted to fit in with them

While it's very common for moons of simular size to share bedrooms, Titan is one of the few that doesn't. Other Saturnians assumed that it just was favouritism, but really it was because there wasn't anyone close in size to Titan.

Io can lift the rest of Jupiter's moons, including all other Galileans. All the the same time.

Gallileans have animalistic traits based off mythology! Ganymede being an eagle, Io and Europa being bull/cow, and Callisto being a bear.

Animalistic parts for Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto move depending on emotion. Europa and Io have their ears wiggle when they are happy or excited or tails swing when they are angry. Ganymede's wings flap when he's scared, and feathers tend to puff up when he feels threatened. Callisto's ears twitch when she's annoying

Io was the first to form. And at times he feels bad, thinking he should be more mature. But he isn't Europa to be caretaker, he isn't serious Callisto or commanding Ganymede. He is Io, whatever that means. And if there's anything Ganymede and Callisto had ever agreed on, it was the fact that they do not concider Io as eldest.

Europa had the hardest relationship with Jupiter pre-revolution. She does love him, but she can't ignore how he treated everyone just because she was lucky enough to be big or needing some extra care at times. She also feels guilty because of how much privilege she has compared to others

Europa wasn't blind to how Ganymede behaved the same way planets did and belittled small moons. But she also was aware on how Ganymede was taking example from Jupiter. And that essentially they had to blame the system they grew in

Ganymede has his clothes stolen almost constantly. Io and Europa because they genuinely like it. Callisto does so just to piss him off. Titan began to steal clothes too when they and Europa got together.

Io, Callisto and Jupiter are all autistic. Plus Io has ADHD in addition (so AuDHD). While Ganymede has NPD and dyslexia. Europa... might just be that token neurotypical friend (not sure about this one lol) who takes care of everyone and makes sure others don't forget they have basic needs and can't just obsess over their special interests until they pass out.
