A Very Marth Marriage

MARTH GOT MARRIED! Obviously this is not canon to the show, but it’s canon to my content (not the comic I’m working on). I have a lot of explaining to do about the pics so let’s just get right into it

The rings:

I came up with a headcanon to make it work for planets to have rings for marriage like humans do (in a way). We obviously know that if moons crash into the planets, rings can form. Well obviously I’m not gonna make Luna or Phobos and Deimos crash into their planets, SO I came up with the idea of using an asteroid! Asteroids and comets can also play a part in creating rings.

I decided to have Mars and Earth find an asteroid and they had the decision to shape it into whatever shape they want and can write whatever they want on it for the other (their vows for example). Using their gravity, after the ceremony is done, they can cause the asteroids to crash, thus creating the particles and dust (I’m not going into extreme scientific detail, it’s about talking planets for goodness sake), and they can then use their gravity to form those rings.

I decided to make their rings pretty thin, only visible in certain lighting, kinda like Jupiter and Neptune. They have rings, but they aren’t always visible. This can work for any planet if you use your imagination. Even Jupiturn can have a special ring dedicated to each other if they got married. This is just the headcanon I came up with for that cause I wanted them to have some sort of symbol for their marriage

The clothes:

In the show the planets can be in a room, sit on chairs, etc. They can wear clothes if I want them to. Imma just say Astrodude had a huge task ahead of him. The flowers are also supposed to be fake cause I feel real ones would immediately wilt in space, but I have no clue 😂 also flowers are hard as hell to draw for me 💀

Then the kiss:

They can kiss. Kissing doesn’t result in crashing in my AU. End of story

Also Phobos and Deimos are the flower boys in this situation 😌

Annndddd that is all I can think of! If anyone has any questions about the headcanon(or pics) or even wants to use it, feel free to ask and use the idea! Not sure if anyone else came up with an idea like that, but it’s a fun thought!

solardragon doodle dump, featuring some of the cast as temeraire dragon breeds, whether they're canon or my own fan-made ones! :) this is all based on an au idea i've expanded on a bit with this post with astrodude; essentially plopping these guys into dragon bodies, living their lives happily, whilst simultaneously getting flashes of memories from their lives as planets (or, in astrodude's case, a ball). may do more of these in the future, i dunno :D (some designs aren't offically concrete.. jupiter's, for example, so i expect his might change eventually) without color and close-ups below <3

Let's move on to the rocky's moons - Luna, Phobos and Deimos

Martian moons were inspired by leopard geckos. In this au Earth would call them lizards (like "asteroid thingies" in the show)
