Merry Christmas! Hope you guys spend a wonderful day with your famillies! :3

And part 1 of Sun confession to the Moon is HERE
A sun confession to the Moon Part 2
Now it’s been hours a somehow the god actually manage to fall asleep, only to wake up in panic when he didn’t felt anything in his arms. Jolting awake and looking around frantically he manage to calm down only when he finally spot her walking in the water slowly, watching her approach carefully a bunch of tiny light at the center. He adjust himself back against the tree trunk and smirk amuse by the girl childishness.
Those tiny lights were actually small fairies having fun playing on the surface of the water and from the girl eagerness and careful steps to not startle them, Soléa probably didn’t see fairies that much in her life. Or maybe never saw one.
So seeing her like that after what just happened, make the god hold back a laugh, the only thing guiding the girl beside the lights the fairies were amating being the light of the moon. Looking at her like that, the god can’t help but to think that she kinda could be one. I mean she was probably half his size.
At some point tho Soléa almost trip in the water which made him almost get up in worry…Those few months on earth really changed him faster than he would admit it.
Good thing the water wasn’t that deep and that the girl didn’t realized he was awake (again) or she would have spot the worry look on his face. …He wasn’t exactly worried she would hurt herself. I mean, he saw her jump off trees to land down either on solid ground or the nearby lake next to the village, saw her chase after big creatures and animals, and even jump from a tree onto his back… Yeah that one almost send her flying. But he knew it would take worse than that for her to actually hurt herself. But now that he knew…Well that Soléa actually admit the truth that she was jealous of the goddess and all that. It kinda awaken a feeling of worry for the girl. I mean beside the fact he wont dare lay a hand on her until he’s sure he wouldn’t stain her with all the blood he got on his hands…Plus all the others things he did…Yeah.
But looking at her right now, surrounded by fairies, was really a sight to see and if anyone was close by they would saw a small smile on the god face.
With a sigh he try to keep his composure while keeping an eye on the girl having fun. He wouldn't move for now. Somehow this scene put the god at ease aswell. Compare to the wars and all the fight he went to, the god was appreciating this moment as much as he could worry.
At some point the fairies would turn around the girl making her turn around aswell and spot the god awake. That same girl embarrass before was now waving at him with a big smile on her face. she turn back toward the fairies and extend her hands toward them. the god could see one of them got closer to disappear in her hands before the girl come back running toward him.
- Link! Look! look!
She almost stumble but catch herself and manage to got out of the water to kneel in front of the god and open her hand to show him the small pink fairy sitting there with a big grin on her face. Even in the dead of the night, that girl was smiling brightly enough to seem like she was glowing; a tiny sun in the night.
- I’m looking. He sigh trying to sound detached but reality was he saw many fairies so being use to it, it wasn’t much. BUT seeing her like that however, he almost wished to the goddesses to be able to take her to travel all around the world to show her all the wonders he knew about just to keep seeing that wonder on her face and those stars in her eyes.
Was that cheesy? Maybe, but even a god often called/compared to a Demon could dream, couldn’t he? The softness in his eyes was enough proof of it already. He sigh once more and look at the girl more closely. She was soak from head to toes. He wonder if it happened when he was asleep.
- Isn’t she so cute? And those tiny wings. Solea was smiling so much in excitement at this point but her nose was kinda running too, she was cold even if she wasn’t realizing it. I've never seen anything like that before!
Solea didn’t noticed the slight annoyance on the god face as he took off his “cloack” (not sure it’s the right word XD) and put it around her to keep her warm which made her look up a bit surprise the fairy taking off at the abrupt movement from the girl (nan just kidding she saw the god’s glaring) and her embarrassment from her earlier confession and the answer from the god about it coming back to her mind full force.
- Those are fairies. Those tiny beings can heal people's wounds and even save them from death itself. They’re viles little creatures too, always hiding where you can’t find them and causing havoc to the ones who offended them when they can. Don’t get fooled by their appearance. He explain kinda annoyed to the new fascination the girl had developed for them in such a short time while adjusting his cloak on her. And don’t come near their mothers either little sun….They’re tru-
Solea was now looking at him even more excited and curious making the god pause but then her attention shift to the cloak the god was adjusting around her shoulder and the use again of the nickname she asked about the meaning of it before. The cloack was soft because of the fur all over it, warm and smelled like him (good thing he can’t read mind). Only now was she realizing she was cold all this time and her nose a bit runny, making her embarrass, while the god sigh at the girl and just pull her in his arms by the cloak adjusting it so it would cover her head too.
- L-Link, you’re going to get soak… She manage to mumble against the god chest nor that he care as he caress her head through the cloak, pretty sure she was embarrass but didn’t say anything about it.
- I’m a god, I’m not gonna catch a cold, unlike you if you stay like that, little sun. He explain to her in a matter of fact way.
Solea under the cloack was blushing red, but she couldn’t say she wasn’t enjoying it, she felt warm under the cloak and against his chest, she could even hear his heart beat, the hand of the god moving under the cloak to brush through her soak hair gently. If she wasn’t living this moment she wouldnt believe it. Solea then wondered if he had ever done that to the goddess Hylia but her though are cut short when the god talk again.
- Are you warm? He ask her gently, his hand and fingers never stopping their slow brushing.
- Y-Yes…thank you…But…I’m sorry for you clothes and cloak…they’re gonna get wet because of me. She mumble slowly feeling a bit bad for his clothes since he lost his armure and those are the only clothes he got from the village.
The god sigh and adjust himself against the tree and her aswell to be more comfortable.
- Clothes can dry little sun.
- …Still…You’re a god…
- Are you really trying to argue with a god now, little priestess? He ask kinda amused. The girl was never scared of him and would often argue back often but not when she was embarrassed like right now or when she knew she was close to really annoy him which wasn’t the case at the moment.
- …I… She peak her head out of the cloak with a pout, her hair a bit of a mess and just as he though her face kinda pink, visible even in the dead of the night and the light of the moon. That sight could make him smile if he didn’t had full control of his facial expression. Her annoyed face being both funny and kinda adorable at the same time.
-Stop calling me little! She finally say after a whole minute almost making the god laugh.
And there she was turning the conversation around proving she was embarrass.
- But you are as small as a fairy for me tho.
- Yes, well uh…you didn’t had to be this tall!
- Mhm? So it’s my fault now that you’re small?
- I’m not small! You’re too tall! It's not the same!
- You’re repeating yourself little sun.
- I’m not! Y-You’re just being mean!
She was getting more and more embarrass and disrespectful but the god could care less at this moment, enjoying their back and forth, the girl back to “normal” from her earlier embarrassment because of her earlier confession. She was his sun, his little light in the night. The only one he let being disrespectful and probably have the last word against him even if he would never admit it out loud.
- Oh? Am I? Did you forget that we can cut mortals tongue for being disrespectful with a god? He ask her with a raise eyebrow and an amuse smirk that manage to pass his mask. For all answer she just stuck her tongue at him before hiding again under the cloak just a touff of messy blond hair peeking out from the cloak making him snort a little.
Yes only she could get reactions like that from him. This bright small girl he could wait an eternity for to be worthy of her. To not stain her light while she was sharing it with him, just like the sun with the moon in the sky.
With another sigh and his hand moving back to the back of her head he lean down to rest his chin on top of her head wishing her a good night and promising quietly more to himself to take her all around the kingdom one day. The girl under the cloak smiling brightly as she close her eyes hoping to dream of that promise.

Solea got caught up with a boy she helped evade some thieves - he returned a year later, looking more rugged and asking for her help. She couldn’t help but agree, and fell head over heels.
