@-@ AHHH!! Look at Ardyn and his merry band. Is it self-indulgent that I added all these extras in there? Definitely but who cares, it’s my AU!! Now if only I can color then this pic will be complete~ Until then, I hope y’all like it and are enjoying your week so far<3

Lancer - Somnus Lucis Caelum (right-hand man, tried so hard to make him somewhat look like Noct)

Shield - Gilgamesh / Marcius Amicitia (big, biiiig guy; gave him a name to throw in some ancestry for Gladio)

Hunter - Caius Scientia (one-eyed, he cooks like Iggy too)

Ranger - Benevolo Besithia (precious bandana boy, is a chocobo fanatic like Prompto)

Seeker - Juno Anseres Izunia (team mom ‘cause the boys need it, that scarf looks familiar 🤔)

WIP. More Ardyn and Gilgamesh. The more I draw these two, the more I fall in love with their interactions. I mean I’ve always had the images in my head but to translate them onto paper after all this time @-@ hnnnngh! Just seeing this come to life is a dream so I’ll definitely ink them in and clean it up properly for y’all to see cause we need more Happy Ardyn and his Swornshield here.

I got so into it that it was 4am when I stopped and realized that I had work in a few hours ;-; RIP me, but this has been very therapeutic for me. I’ve never been good at art per se but I have been in love with drawing and manga/comics for as long as I can remember. I decided to be brave and just go for it. For now, here’s a sketch of Young Ardyn before I ink him in another time. Might as well join Inktober too ^^

Alright, so here’s a bit of comic practice/sneak preview for my upcoming project :3 It will take time, but rest assured that I am consistently driving myself to tell you my story on Ardyn’s past.

The panel itself: here we have him gazing out at something.  This is not from the project’s storyline, however I wanted to reveal to you a bit of my take on his personality 2000 years prior to the game’s storyline.  At one point, he wasn’t someone plotting any sort of vengeance or moving in any sort of way motivated by spite or cynicism.  At one point, he was a man like any other who had the luxury to feel content, to relax, and to ponder without any sort of ulterior motive.  At one point, Ardyn was very human and I wish to portray that in a way that makes him feel like someone one can relate to and form a bond with as they follow his tale.  Because we all know that in the end, he did not stay this way. Thoughts?

Noctis Lucis Caelum. First prince of Lucis. And Gladiolus, his Shield. And…maybe Gladio was caught up in this, in the taboo of it. And the thought of fucking someone so much of the divine so near the divine. Gripping his hair, he tugged the prince’s head back enough so he could kiss him hungrily, keeping his mouth occupied.
