These are the initial Xeno!troll sketches requested by Homestuckstuck.

Basking Lobster suggested Aradia dabbing.

Aradia doing a flip was suggested by Karrin Blue, but since she was already dabbing Tavros did the backflip instead.

Jaevrr suggested Sollux leaning back on his elbows, which I discovered isn’t really possible with this version of troll anatomy, as the placement of the rumblepheres (shoulders) on the front of the torso limits their ability to band backwards.

Inkless pen wanted Karkat “prodding at his gills like wtf are these doing there“ and so we got an angsty picture of Karkat being VERY unhappy with the implications of his gills being able to extend like that. At the bottom of the spectrum even being able to open his opercula at all would be unheard of. He’s actively pulling on the filaments, or the gill would have retracted to safety. And the other ones being out while one is being manhandled means that he’s essentially hyperventilating too.

And finally, Gwen put forth the best suggestion of the night: Nepeta, arms stretched to the heavens and head thrown back, cackling as lightning strikes in the background.

Overall, I had a lot of fun doing these. It’s a good excercise to get the things down as quick as possible; helps one loosen up in addition to getting a better intuitive understanding of how the anatomy all fits together.

   I would like to say that I like all kinds of food, but that's not actually true. I'm really picky and sensitive :/ I cannot deal with anything spicy. Nothing spicy. Nothing. My favorite food is my Grandma Lala's porkchops because they make me happy.

   I have these boot-heels that have pretty floral designs and it kind looks like canvas and the heels are dark brown wood. They're pretty and they make me feel tall. :D
