The modifiers "traditional" and "modern" do not add anything to the concept of values other than give it a chronological meaning. Values are values, whether they are discovered centuries ago or recently. If a moral value is reasonable and good then keep it and carry it with you into the future. If it is unreasonable and bad then do not waste time reminiscing about it. Disregard the unreasonable and bad immediately.
