Dear people

If you know someone around you at school or at work that is an artist, please do NOT insiste to see their sketchbook or worst, trying to steal it so you can see their piece of work. Some artists just don’t want to show their sketchbooks or parts of it because there are personal stuff drawn too or because they have it as a diary. This is really disrespectful when you do this to an artist that just asked nothing.

Just ask them before and if they don’t want to show all of their art, then ask for some they really are proud instead!

Same people who wanna be friends with the artist just because they draw and nothing else. When you want to become friend with somebody, it is because of them and not just for a freaking drawing.

I get this a lot of time at school when someone will just come to me and act like we were BFFs just because of art and not you.

Of course some people wants to be your friend because of your art but that usually means they want you to teach them how to draw better and there aren’t any problems with this!

But PLEASE make an effort and first get to know the artist if you want to start a friendship with them without just looking at their art.

It’s just like if I was impressed by a dancer and I immediately ask them to be friends and to see videos of them dancing that may sometimes be personal. I would just be really disrespectful with them and not treating them normally.

Last thing I didn’t talk but is as important as the others,

DON’T ask free art from the artist. Excepted if the artist asked for free requests, this really is annoying to be asked for free art.

A lot of people at my school know I’m usually exhausted because I don’t sleep really well (you can tell by my dark rings under my eyes) but even with knowing this, they ask for free art. You don’t know how tiring this is.

If the artist is good and, this happens rarely around me for strangers but it exists, INSIST to draw something free for you because they WANT to, then it is fine!

My mom has been trough this since she is an artist and I know it IS annoying to have people like that because I draw too.

So PLEASE, treat artists like normal humans and not some kind of machine that will do everything for you and will show you everything they’ve done.

Day 5. 100 Days of Productivity

JavaScript tutorial is almost over💥

So far, I love booleans, however, I'm having a hard time with arrays... anyways, it's incredible how much more I need to learn. Every single day I'm looking forward to studying more about JS. The fact that it's able to solve such a variety of problems is what truly amazes me.

Speaking of problems!!

You know how in German there are prefixes, especially, I guess, in front of the verbs (correct me, I'm a complete beginner here). It was a real struggle for me to remember any of them like there will be aus-, auf-, ver-, vor-, etc

So I came up with a new way to remember the German prefixes.

I assign them to Hetalia characters. 😂

A letter of encouragement! Aroha your great!

I read so many of the stories that came up and I just wanted to say that you are all beautiful people and that I respect you so much! You are strong and amazing and don't deserve to have scars like this! I am 19, from Germany and so lucky nothing bad happened to me! I have great parents and live in a pretty good environment. Sometimes some stupid ass guys throw dumb comments or whistel at me or my friends... But thats literally nothing compared to your stories! They are so heartbreaking and I want to cry and just give up in society! I am so happy that this topic came up and we as a fandom talk about this and be able to give encouragement to victims! Most of you guys are so young and its sad that you had to experiece horrible things at that age. I hope people realize that this is wrong and we can bring some awareness into the situation. I don't even know if I should like the posts since they are so terrible but at the same time I want to let people know that their stories were heard and that I feel with them! I am in no means a holy Person. I had my fair share of smutty fics or vids... But that does not mean I am a person without respect and morals! For me Astro have a very pure vibe and I dont even want to think about reading stuff like that about them. I cant belive we came to a point were we have to educate some dumb people on ethics and human rights. This whole issue was brought to a whole new level and it gave many people the courage to talk about their experiences. Some stories that were unheard till now. And for some it maybe was very hard to speak up so thank you for sharing and you will turn out as great human beings. To many people get away with not only sexualization but also rape. The law has rules for so many stupid things but real issues get overlooked so often! I don't even know what I wrote so far and my mind is spinning but I think i have concluded some important stuff. Everyone we are a huge family and I love beeing a part of it. Aroha are awesome lets continue being a great fandom and fighting for what we think is right! A fellow Aroha

Regarding the queue:

I set up the queue to run from Noon to 6 PM EST every day, because that gives me time to wake up, get ready for my day, set up any more submissions for the queue, then head off for work! And I get off around 5:30 so by the time I get home, I have a an empty queue and plenty of time to set up tomorrows! So please feel free to submit your confessions and memories all hours of the day, just don't be alarmed if you don't see it until tomorrow!
