what are your thoughts on keith with more galran traits? if you had to give him a more galran appearance what would you give him? and for any other hybrids too, if you could add/remove some galra traits what would you add/remove?
Keith looks basically entirely human. He should have fangs and claws for sure…maybe pointy lil ears
No comments on the girls, but IMO Lotor would look pretty rad with red Altean marks.
(People have said this before, but it’s kinda fucked up that the “good” mixed race person looks entirely non-Galra, and the “bad” mixed race person is visibly Galra)
How would you rank the 6 mains? And to make it interesting I give you options: a) overall storyline b) character development c) love interest d) how much you wanna be friends with them e) or just rank them:-)
ohhh, pauline, this is the most intense ranking i have ever done, i love it. you say 5 options, i’m doing them all (because i miss rankings so much)
a) overall storyline
1. nora machwitz - this season came out of nowhere and completely blew me away, it’s concise writing, a very strong narrative, and two important topics handled incredibly well and realistically, druck was like “you thought we were a good remake, wait until we do original seasons”
2. matteo florenzi - i have my issues with a certain week but the rest was done really well imo. the pacing followed skam s3 quite closely while adding some of their own spins on it that added some new and different aspects. it worked really well. like i said though, week 8 didn’t work because david’s outing didn’t add anything to matteo’s storyline, so we were in a weird limbo of no plot-development for almost a week which was a disappointment
3. hanna jung - back when druck’s biggest change was introducing amira before any of the other girls. but yeah, i love love love eva mohn’s season, and hanna’s followed that plotline pretty much to a t so it works. but at times it feels a bit underdeveloped because it is a very close copy
4. mia winter - i think this would rank higher if it wasn’t for the sexual assault story line, i didn’t like how it was handled really rushed within one week. but i did really appreciate the kiki/mia storyline
5. amira mahmood - "sweetie, i’m so sorry that ugly ass bitch would do this to you” she had so much potential but like almost none of it was followed through. maybe i’m just bitter but her storylines all felt underdeveloped and cheap
it’s definitely too early to tell for fatou’s season but only considering her first 2.5 weeks she is in 2nd place for me
b) character development
1. fatou jallow - i love this character so much, you have no idea. she was developed so well in nora’s season, and now watching her be the main focus and seeing her personality when she is on her own unobserved is an absolute delight
2. matteo florenzi - i mean, i’ve written multiple essays about why i love him as a character so much, there is nothing left to say
3. nora machwitz - seriously, i still remember last april i was so against a new gen but even back then a tiny voice inside my head said druck is amazing at constructing and developing characters so there is a chance the new gen might be amazing. for her especially i was afraid she would be just a kiki-copy but she isn’t at all. you can tell they had the same upbringing and were influenced by the same mother/parents but their personalities are different and unique
4. mia winter - (this is the second time i almost wrote mia jung....... mianna get out of my head) anyway, yeah i do really like how mia is very different than noora, you only have to look at the way she dresses. there are all these small moments (most memorable when she ironed her socks, never felt represented more) that subtly develop her character, it’s really really well done imo
5. amira mahmood - i love her but i feel like she had way more potential to be a more complex and well-developed. she is still one of my favourite sana remakes but her own season did neither her storyline nor her character development any favours
6. hanna jung - okay this is no hanna hate at all because she is on my top tier of eva versions but her development sometimes relies to heavily on who she is dating, while her whole arc in s1 was to find out who she is for herself. i love though how in character she stayed in s2 and didn’t turn into a drinking party girl
c) love interest
1. david schreibner - no explanation needed
2. josh zimmermann - his hugs look like they could cure my depression
3. mohammed razzouk - best yousef, i said what i said
4. kieu my vu - me trying to stay fair putting her in fourth place because i do have my issues with her not apologizing to ava. but in my heart she is in second place (she and fatou are my favourite ship though, they dethroned davenzi 😭)
5. i like neither alex nor jonas as love interest,,,, but like a tinsy tiny part of me prefers alex over jonas. but basically they share last place
the fact that the top four are all poc has me crying
d) how much you wanna be friends with them
1. fatou jallow - come on, who wouldn’t want to be friends with her?
2. amira mahmood - one time i had a dream that i met her in college and we became friends, i wish i was still in that dream
3. hanna jung - she seems like the most supportive and appreciative and fun friend ever
4. nora machwitz - sometimes a bit too “kiki (adjacent)” - copyright @inmyarmswrappedin - but still a lovely person i would love to hang out with
5. matteo florenzi - only reason he is so low is because we are both such high-introverts that we would just sit there awkwardly silent for hours
6. mia winter - no offense but i think she would get on my nerves sometimes, no hate though, still love the effort she puts into her white feminism
e) just rank them
1. fatou jallow - i am just heart-eyes about her 24/7, can’t believe i said lesbian and druck said yeah here you go
2. matteo florenzi - yoo about to be cancelled by 95% of my followers for not putting him in first place, i’m sorry
3. amira mahmood - love how the girlsquad said queen and we all just went yeah she IS the queen
4. nora machwitz - “i don’t want a new gen” - me eating my own words
5. hanna jung - you know how josh gives the greatest hugs, i feel like hanna gives the softest hugs
6. mia winter - last place is still better than like a lot of other characters in the skamverse, so just because she didn’t win here doesn’t mean she is a complete let-down

she apparently doesnt remember giving me this really thought out list (and this is like the second iteration of the List) and then was surprised when i started to seek her validation??? girl you gave me the list of “things to work on” and i had no idea i was doing these things
the only way i had to Fix these things was to make sure i wasnt doing them was asking her! and hoping i was doing better so she’d still be my friend!
cause surprise, she didnt like any of the friends i had before her and through talking about them behind their backs to me, complaining everytime they joined me and her and our other friends for stuff, convinced me to drop them. and thats super cool cause i legit lost all my friends when she decided she was done with me
anyways, i only have so much in my dropbox as my main file of having all these things was on my Mac that died two years ago
