We live in a world where having genuine emotions makes you wish you were a Monster instead.
Sneha Tresa Ekka
Pain. It’s something that happens to the human body to tell us that something bad is happening. Pain is not always physical. It can affect the mind in almost unimaginable ways, then force us to cope with something nobody else can see. You feel like you’re an accessory. You lose someone close, and are reminded of them every day. You’ve been hurt, used, lied to, and rejected and still are told it’s your fault. And then what do you do? You internalize it. Lock it down, wrap it up in a pretty bow, and put it on a shelf so that only you can be see it when it starts to act up. And even this is not enough. You start to express that you’re emotionally distressed and drowning by laughing and joking about it. But it shows in your eyes. The pain, the hurt, the memories, the questions of “Why do I do the things I do?” and “Why am I like this?” and that pretty little thing tied up in a bow, appears behind the color of your eyes and your laughter lines. So when someone notices that pretty bow, let them take it off your shelf. And help you pull on the ribbon, find the lock that you hid so well. Because I promise you two things. You are not alone, and there is always someone who will help you.

Let me clear something up.
I am in fact an infodumper. I will drop a whole encyclopedia on you. The problem is you gotta ASK me to infodump. I'm not gonna just hand over some sacred knowledge onto you out of the blue. No.
You gotta beg for it.
Thank you.
