ං ﹙EOMLETZ﹚ first duo name created by coer right after their debut, eomletz represents both gyuri and seonghyeons surnames mushed together, ﹙EOM﹚ and ﹙LEE﹚ except the 2nd e for lee is invisible and silent (⁠´⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠.̫⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠`⁠).

⠀⃘⬚᮫᪰ ִ⠀ ﹙ TWINBYEOL ﹚ was inspired by the adorable japanese cartoon My Little Stars, the ﹙TWIN﹚ in the name depicts both gyuri and sean as the two twins, and ﹙BYEOL﹚ literally means stars in korean, the name originated from when gyuri and seonghyeon both mentioned having watched the cartoon as babies, fans saw resemblance in personality to the both of them and the characters, with kiki being described as timid, caring and sensitive, representing gyuri, while lala ( the second twin ) is much more adventurous and rebellious than kiki while he still reels a sense of responsibility over her which represents seonghyeon.

MOON RIVER & ME ♡ ˙It all started when these two were told they'd be in the same group, that it became seonghyeons quiet, unspoken duty to do everything he could to make her feel at home and safe with them, even if his methods were questionable and annoying, gyuri was someone prone to get homesick easily, but whenever she was around him, home felt closer than ever.

Seonghyeon grew on gyuri quicker than she expected, because he was always trying to make sure she wasnt feeling left out whenever she got quiet around them, he didn't make her feel childish or like she was "too much" for having big feelings in secret, he was always able to listen to her when she needed it, and seonghyeon wouldn't admit how much she reminded him of his little sister the same way she wouldn't admit he reminded her of her older brother. They found a small, implicit comfort in being there for eachother even silently.. even if it was too "cheesy" for them to say.

Guys, picture this:

Scratch the Mileven/Byler and Lumax/Dustin love triangles. Instead, we get Mileven/Henderhop. Dustin’s been in love with her since they first met, always fascinated by her powers, but also understanding her on a deeper, human level. He can’t confess his feelings because… well, Jane is with Mike (boooo! tomatoes! 🍅). Anyway, their relationship still has the same struggles depicted in the show, and Dustin HATES that Mike’s treating her like shit.

Will? Still in love with Mike since kindergarten. Mike? Still repressing his feelings for Will. But we get cute heart-to-heart moments between Jane and Dustin—her venting about Mike not seeing her beyond her powers, Dustin praising her for being the amazing, strong girl she is. The audience is left thinking, “Ohh, a will-they-won’t-they situation!” Jane starts realizing she has feelings for Dustin, she dumps Mike mid-season 3, and Henderhop finally gets together in the season 3 finale, giving us room to explore their relationship in seasons 4 and 5. (Oh, and btw he says ily lol)

Great, that’s the buildup from season 1.

Now, for Byler:

Will is still in love with Mike since kindergarten. Mike is still repressing his feelings for Will. Their story isn’t really changed, it’s perfect just the way it is. We still get the cute heart-to-heart moments, the rain fight, Rinkomania, all the good stuff. The twist? Mike is single in season 4, figuring himself out and processing his unresolved feelings for Will, while Will doesn’t know this and that Jane is out of the picture. Fast forward to the season finale, we get a HEATED moment between them with high stakes, leaving the audience with all the tension and anticipation.

Season 5 rolls in, we delve deeper into their relationship, and finally—an angsty, emotional confession in the church, the lake, the basement, wherever you want it—and they get together in the series finale. And yes, we get to see their cute little asses in the epilogue, ALONG with Henderhop.
