Soooo, I have this character duo idea where 2 kids, about age 10, are the best of friends.
One of them, a 10-year-old lil girl, is extremely mature for her age and has the understanding and knowledge of a 40-year-old. She is, literally, what people would call an old soul.
On the other hand her child bff is a scruffy boy, younger than her, who desperately wants to be regarded as slightly elder and not a lil boi. He constantly uses gen-z slang and dabs and t-poses his way through 4th grade.
They both have extremely busy parents, but the girl understands its just work while the guy quotes vines at his parents' headphone wearing heads.
