I wasn't going to make a post today for the 15th anniversary, but i coincidentally just began listening to one direction's discography again in full for the first time since Liam's passing without realizing the anniversary was coming up. and so many memories associated with these albums began bubbling up.

for those who weren't around when the band was active, i think it's difficult to really express how it felt to be part of something so... lightning in a bottle... as this band was. for many of us, one direction has our Youth. when we think back to our teens/early twenties we think about them. when we think of some of the happiest, most absurd, most seretonin filled times of our lives they are part of that, and nothing can ever untangle them from being such an integral piece of our growing up. and its oddly beautiful to have a relationship so significant like that with strangers because they were the soundtrack to our Youth.

staying up late to watch six second vines of an entire two hour concert. racing to download the songs to our computers when the brazillian youth would leak the albums before they were erased from the internet. going into any store and being bombarded with anything that brands could stick their faces onto. the chaos that was 1D Day. the launch of those cursed perfume ads. collectively hating so many of the men who surrounded the boys. showing up to the theater to see This is Us or experience the MITAM listening parties. the signings that would have so many (now iconic) interactions with fans. having so many shit posts day in and day out about things the boys did that day because they were always doing something so there was always something to talk about. screaming at the TV when they won awards and suffering through red carpets to see their collective looks. bullying them relentlessy. anticipating their tweets or vines or random Q+A's. constantly quoting their interviews like they were inside jokes. staying up late to see them perform on SNL. the pandemonium of carpool karaoke and tattoo roulette. having several nicknames for each one depending on the month. the running jokes we had that the boys were in on (i genuinely dont believe, we as a fandom, have been funnier than we were from 2010-2016.) the adrenaline rush as we finally pressed play on new music and dissecting who was singing what and what the lyrics meant.

i look back on it now, and i don't think it could be replicated. one direction genuinely lived in such a specific time where the universe had to align in so many ways for them to exist the way they did. we got 1D as soon as the internet was truly taking off. Social media really boomed around the time that One Direction came onto the scene. they, in some ways, represent so many aspects of early internet culture. there wasn't all this instant access or quick links when they were at their prime. they were one of the biggest bands in the world and although they catered to their fans heavily, there was still a distance had between them and us. drops were still special. any type of social media interaction was felt for days. fan projects were heard around the world because we all came out in droves. getting livestreams from them was rare but exciting. in the modern age of digital media, i don't think the spark would feel the same because we have so much access to stars now and everyone is forced to promote themselves relentlessly on tiktok or instagram- like imagine every boy having their own independent tiktok account and the drama that would occur because of it. things still felt so innocent and exciting in the fan-artist relationship bubble, and i just don't think the relationship they had with us and how we think of that time period would even remotely be the same if they existed in the industry climate of today. it was a short, magical period of the internet that im fortunate i was able to witness alongside their rise.

and their music. honestly, even years later their music fucking ruled. you look at all these carefully-curated modern boybands trying to catch that same momentum and see how hit and miss their music is. how generic it sounds. how cold and surgical it feels. one direction was the epitome of an apologetic boyband who sounded super sugary-pop before they evolved into their own songwriting and influencing their sound with all of their different music tastes and it felt human because it was. it was feverish and silly but also super slick and catchy and full of emotion and texture. it acts as a sonic photobook of their growth as a band as they found their footing in the industry. and they were great. they were talented. their albums ripped. they were on top for a reason, and i think people forget how unapologetic and strong their music was regardless of how you felt about them as a boyband because they did it their way and they didn't care what anyone thought about it. as i dove back into their discography this past week, you can sense all that in how their music makes you feel when you listen to it. and i think anytime i hear their music, i will feel like that for the rest of my life.

ive had a very difficult time processing liam's death this past year (as most of us have) and the finality of that when it comes to the band- as it should be. it will never be the same. and i've fought myself for years after the band went on hiatus about how some of my favorite memories of my Youth are tied to a band who have talked at length about the abuse and darkness they dealt with at such a young age by being in that band. but, ive learned to live in the grey of it all because they've also talked about all the fun they had. all the laughs they had. all the experiences they had that no one will understand but each other. all the love they gave and we gave back to them. because in some ways, even through the tougher times, there was light and i genuinely believe them when they said that they couldn't have done it without the fans. and i hate everything to do with the parasocial aspect of fame, but we were a unit. it didn't feel cheap when they said it. it didn't feel scripted. we both grew up together on this wild journey they had as they rose to fame, and we had fun together. we laughed together. we cried together. we made fun of each other. last year... we mourned together. we were part of this moment in time together, and i think that's why they are so fiercely loyal to their fans. when everything else sucked, that relationship never did.

so as we raise a glass to 15 years of this band and these guys and these memories and all the music, i want to celebrate everything they represented for so many of us throughout the years and confidently remind everyone that you shouldn't feel shame about the love you had for them when they were struggling. the serotonin you felt during times that maybe they weren't. because at the end of the day, we were a family. a huge, crazy, dumb, beautiful, intelligent, exciting family, and i know they appreciated us just like we did them. and i am so grateful for them and what they brought to my life.

because from the bottom of the stairs, to the top of the charts.... for ever and always. One band. One Dream. One Direction.

A weird thing happened while I was livestreaming earlier today. I wound up talking a bit about Time Gate, and all the changes it had gone through over the years. It was just Zelda fanfiction back in 2009, but by 2014, it was an original published comic, with its first of many volumes drawn in Paint Tool SAI, a program not made for drawing comics in the slightest, but a program I loved using nonetheless. I eventually switched to Clip Studio around 2016, when the program became more accessible and affordable for me, and when it became clear that it was time to outgrow SAI.

Despite all the changes and rewrites and redesigns and hiatuses and absolute BULLSHIT that Time Gate has lived through (much of which is a suffering that's happened in silence) just about every step of its development over that time still exists, from word documents to drawings. And that also includes the fanart from as far back as the early 2010's, which remains as some of the only proof I have left of the character designs that used to exist, some for characters who have gone through immense changes in that time, others who no longer even exist.

Of course, there's still a lot missing. Physical media that I threw out, digital media that's been long since lost to the abyss of the old Internet which can likely no longer be retrieved. There's a chance - however slim - that there still exists an old VAIO laptop, with password-protected word doc files that I can no longer unlock, because past me was just a little too smart.

Talking about all this on stream was almost kind of weird and alien, putting into perspective how much my life used to revolve around this one project. As much as I thought it would be impossible back then, it no longer does, instead revolving around a completely different project that I never saw coming. Working on LORE | REKINDLED has almost been a cure for a creative cancer that was eating away at me for years, that was preventing me from growing. On the one hand, this was a good thing, letting go of past obligations to just do something different for once; but on the other, I've been struggling to really come to terms with what that means for a project that I dedicated so much of my life to. How am I supposed to create this project now that I've moved so far away from it? Do I just let it go entirely? What's waiting for me on the other side if I do?

But as I opened Paint Tool SAI to show off its features and began absentmindedly drawing Uzuki, I kind of realized just how silly the last couple years of stressing over this thing have been. It's not going anywhere. It hasn't gone anywhere in all these years, even while it's sat in limbo. And even if I let go of it, for a year, or three, that doesn't mean it has to be gone forever.

And then, as if on cue, while listening to the Zelda soundtracks I've had stored on that very same harddrive since 2014 - carried over from the laptop I used throughout high school - one particular track came on, an orchestrated compilation that I remember distinctly from a famous speedpaint many years ago. And all at once, I felt like I was back in 2014 again, painting in my old black and grey watercolor style in Paint Tool SAI, livestreaming while I drew for my small circle of pals, aspiring to be at the skill level of the artists whose work I spent hours staring at, listening to ripped Zelda OST MP3's on Windows Media Player that I downloaded when I was 16 and have continued to carry from computer to computer. These are bittersweet reminders of the future my past self wanted, and keepsakes of a life once lived. Even if I were to ever let go of Time Gate completely, it will never let go of me. It will only grow and change as I do. Sometimes I'll spend a lot of time with it, my only friend; other times it will move away for a little bit, just to stay loosely in touch every now and then while we both live our own lives, until they maybe return for a visit, or I take a trip out to see them.

And that's okay. Because as I continued to refine this drawing that started off as a live demonstration of Paint Tool SAI, after the stream was already over and no one was watching and I was supposed to be working on LORE | REKINDLED or at least going to bed a bit earlier because I have a tattoo appointment tomorrow, I realized I was being schooled in the same lessons that I always wanted to convey through Time Gate's story and characters in the first place-

That time is a circle, and so long as one has the will, there's always a chance to start over anew.

I always see people reminiscing about the Good Ole Days and about how antis are a new thing but. . .is that really true? Or am I just being autistic and taking things too literally, and they just mean it's way more of a common debate now than it used to be before, and that the landscape of shipwank has changed?

Idk, it's like I constantly hear about fandom wank and shipwars and censorship from decades ago, and yes I know "shipping/doxxing/censorship has always existed" can co exist with "antis are new" but I think there's still a bit of a comprehension gap on my end.

Back in early 2010s tumblr (I cannot speak of other website/platforms) I remember that tagging something as #Anti Donkey Kong didn't mean you think DK is an evil abusive monster and that everyone who likes him/mains him is also an evil abusive monster and that Nintendo is pushing the evil abusive monster agenda. #Anti Donkey Kong would just be character bashing, wank, letting out your grievances about how ugly DK is, etc, but it was really just a tag used for your own personal opinions (and for DK fans to filter out). Whereas now #Anti Donkey Kong would mean please go die and delete all your accounts if you support DK.

So I definitely know that "anti" has a way more intense definition now than it used to - but for some reason I find it a bit hard to grasp just how new this whole anti thing even is in the firstplace. It honestly makes me sad that I've never seen a pre-anti internet, assuming there really was a time before antis.

Antis are new. Specifically, the "Conservative Protestantism in a gay hat" thing that that one tumblr post pointed out is new.

We had doxxing in the past. We had masses of shipwank. We also had "How dare you write that m/m ship. It's bad!"

The key is that the "Your m/m ship is bad" crowd used to openly be conservative Christian homophobes who objected to homosexuality itself. Nowadays, they're queer 20-somethings who like m/m ships but object to gay sex.

It's the anti-kink, anti-fantasy brigade coming from "our side" instead of the outside, essentially. It's respectability politics about "Sempai will love me if I just sanitize The Community and kick out the icky weirdos". It's personal disgust masquerading as morality where once it would have been masquerading as intellectual superiority.

It's a product of queerness being more public and tolerated overall. In the past, a lot of spaces devoted to m/m shipping had to be aggressively in favor of contentious fiction because the existence of anything m/m was itself contentious. There was plenty of "Well, my gay best friend said ___ is unrealistic, and my slash is good, unlike that of you plebes!" There was much less "Fujoshi means fetishizer".

Of course, I'm comparing the 90s internet to now or the mid 00s Livejournal fandom to Tumblr of this past decade. It really depends on whether Ye Olden Times was five years ago or twenty five.

The modern use of the term 'anti' did indeed grow out of the old habit of tagging your hate. As the default cultural mode shifted from "My NOTP is dumb" to "My NOTP is problematic", the usage changed. At some point, antis started getting offended by their self-applied term and pretending that the other side inflicted it on them. This is revisionism. Fiction-is-not-reality had some writeups with citations in the past.

The big shifts were happening around 2012-2016. The long slide into puritywankers being everywhere has only continued since then, but that's where the tipping point seems to have been. TikTok exacerbates this nonsense, and there are clearly plenty of people who are anti-queer and only weaponizing clueless queer youth.

The big shift is that liking m/m used to weed out most of the worst people, and now it attracts lots of them who will not fucking go away because they like the same ship, just the hand-holdy, no dicks can touch ever version.

They spend their time bleating about how AO3 should have been built for them and how anti-censorship activism doesn't matter... because they've grown up in a fandom world dominated by AO3, which shelters them from the reality that the "Ewww, all m/m sucks!" crowd is everywhere on other sites to this day.

That's probably why the shift is when it is. Certain aspects of mainstream queer acceptance were on the rise just as AO3 was getting big. But at the same time, the world is shit and everyone has anxiety they self-medicate through rage and security theater around sniffing out The Bad People.

Everyone Speaks Incel Now

After migrating from misogynist forums to social media feeds, terms like “looksmaxxing” and “mogged” are now impossible to avoid.

At the beginning of the year, The Cut kicked off a brief discourse cycle by declaring a new lifestyle trend: “friction-maxxing.”

The idea, in a nutshell, is that people have overconvenienced themselves with apps, AI, and other means of near-instant gratification—and would be better off with increased friction in their daily lives, which is to say those mundane challenges that ask some minor effort of them.

Whatever your feelings on that philosophy, the use of “maxxing” as a suffix assumed to be familiar or at least intelligible to most readers of a mainstream news outlet is evidence of another trend: the assimilation of incel terminology across the broader internet. The online ecosystem of incels, or “involuntarily celibate” men, is saturated with this sort of clinical jargon; its aggrieved participants insulate, isolate, and identify themselves through in-group codespeak that is meant to baffle and repel outsiders. So how did non-incels (“normies,” as incels would label them) end up adopting and recontextualizing these loaded words?

Slang, no matter its origins, has a viral nature. It tends to break containment and mutate. The buzzword “woke,” as it pertains to our current politics, comes from African American Vernacular English and once referred to an awareness of racial and social injustice—this usage dates to the middle of the 20th century, preceding even the civil rights movement. But the culture wars of this century have turned “woke” into a favorite pejorative of right-wingers, who wield it as a catchall term for anything that threatens their ideology, such as Black pilots or gender-neutral pronouns.

Back in 2014, the eruption of the Gamergate harassment campaign set the stage for a different linguistic realignment. An organized backlash to women working in the video game industry, and eventually any sort of diversity or progressivism within the medium, it exposed a vein of reactionary anger that would gain a fuller voice during Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. This was a period when many in the digital mainstream got their first taste of the trollish nihilism and invective that fuels toxic message boards such as 4chan and gave rise to a network of anti-feminist manosphere sites collectively known as the “PSL” community: PUAHate (a board for venting about pickup artists, it was shut down soon after the 2014 Isla Vista killing spree carried out by Elliot Rodger, who frequented the forum), SlutHate (a straightforward misogyny hub), and Lookism (where incels viciously critique each other’s appearance).

Lookism, named for the idea that prejudice against the less attractive is as common and pernicious as sexism or racism, is the only forum of the PSL trifecta that survives today, and while we don’t know who coined the “maxxing” idiom, it’s the likeliest source for the first verb with this construction. “Looksmaxxing,” which borrows from the role-playing game concept of “min-maxing,” or elevating a character’s strengths while limiting weaknesses, became the preferred expression for attempts to improve one’s appearance in pursuit of sex. This could mean something as simple as a style makeover or as extreme as “bonesmashing,” a supposed technique of achieving a more defined jaw by tapping it with a hammer.

If the 2000s introduced people to pickup lingo like “game” and “negging,” the 2010s ushered in language that extended the Darwinian vision of the dating pool as a cutthroat and strictly hierarchical marketplace. “AMOG,” an initialism for “alpha male of the group,” gave us “mogging,” a display where one man flexes his physical superiority over a rival. An ideally masculine specimen might also be recognized as a “Chad,” who allegedly enjoys his pick of attractive partners, while a Chad among Chads is, of course, a “Gigachad.” Women were disparaged as “female humanoids,” then “femoids,” and finally just “foids.”

Once these building blocks were in place, it was easy to generate endless recombinant forms. You can “maxx” almost anything: “jestermaxxing” is the time-honored technique of seduction through humor, while “moneymaxxing” is the equally traditional strategy of accumulating wealth to elevate your dating prospects, and “gymmaxxing” entails a hardcore fitness regimen. Similarly, men can “mog” in a variety of ways; the tallest can be found “heightmogging” the shortest, the well-coiffed are “hairmogging” the bald, and the most muscular routinely “framemog” anyone skinny-shouldered or noodle-armed. On top of that, you have esoteric phrases like “chadfishing,” which describes the practice of catfishing on dating apps with pictures of conventionally handsome men.

This ever-widening glossary is absurd, and to an extent, that may be deliberate. The silliness obscures the bitter, dehumanizing contempt that incels feel for women, sexually active men, and themselves—it’s common among this cohort to encourage the abandonment of all hope (known as “taking the black pill”) and suicidality. Normies would never submit to such a harsh worldview, but as its goofy nomenclature seeped into the groundwater of online discourse over the past decade, they acquired the semantics.

Most recently, the spread of incel gibberish has been accelerated by the emergence of a 20-year-old Kick streamer known as Clavicular (real name: Braden Peters). Currently the most visible proponent of “looksmaxxing,” Peters, who did not immediately return a request for comment, is open about abusing steroids and methamphetamine, rubs elbows with an avowed white nationalist and an alleged human trafficker, peddles sexist clichés, and throws around the N-word. For $49, he also offers entry to a radicalizing “academy” that teaches young men how to “ascend,” or transform into the hottest version of themselves. Yet the entire conversation around the Clavicular persona—seemingly astroturfed by advertisers paying to disseminate clips of his exploits—derives from videos with inane captions like “Clavicular ran into a frat leader at ASU and got brutally frame mogged by him” and “Clavicular was mid jestergooning when a group of Foids came and spiked his Cortisol levels.”

These trigger phrases, with incomprehensible variations of the existing lexicon piled on for comedic effect, have activated the social media masses, who saw the chance to apply “maxxing” and “mogging” in every imaginable circumstance. As a result, the sentence “Trump brutally lawmogged by SCOTUS for tariffmaxxing, a decision sure to spike White House’s cortisol” is now actually legible to the irony-poisoned commentariat. Peters, then, is seen less as a symptom of a noxious, dead-end attention economy and instead as entertainment, including by the people disposed to reject his cruel means of fame and influence. His edgelord aura can be written off as a ridiculous character, or perhaps a satirical performance of gender optimization.

It’s worth noting, too, that Peters is an “incel-ebrity” steeped in the logic and rhetoric of incel society despite not being one himself; his constant access to women makes him an aspirational figure to those without it.

There can be no clearer sign of the subculture’s potency than everybody else accepting its dreadful conditions, jokingly or not. As an artificial phenomenon, the Clavicular saga—which now encompasses a “Chad leaderboard” and a cast of bizarre side antagonists that has drawn comparisons to anime—forces an engagement with something you would do better to ignore.

On the other hand, it’s entirely possible that incels, true artists of resentment, will take offense at the appropriation of their memes and seek to distance themselves further from the general population they so despise. They could well devise a dialect so inscrutable that it takes another 10 years for outsiders to absorb and normalize it.

For the moment, however, their peculiar eugenic theory has found purchase as a kind of verbal stimulation. How else can you put it: The established vernacular got wordmogged.

SO I ACCIDENTALLY FOUND DELTARUNE'S DATE OF TIME - (ALSO SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE + ACTIVELY ADDING/ADJUSTING THIS POST)

Apart from what i had already listed (& ignoring some stretches i guess), I had completely forgotten about the date that appears on Ralsei's Manual, like, i did know that it appeared in the game files but i had forgotten what it looked like/contained.

Regardless, while trying to figure out the new date, i realized there was a very easy solution, just looking up when Halloween happened on a Thursday, and as it turns out, it happened last year, and because of Among Us & the term "sus" being used as a "reference" to a joke, that basically means:

Deltarune starts on October 31st 2024, Thursday, which can immediately be figured out by looking up the date for yourself, in fact, here's a Wikipedia link & by remembering about the Ralsei Manual (something I had completely forgotten had a date plastered on it).

Next Thursday Halloween is in 2030, you can't go argue against time, which would completely destroy Ralsei's Manual.

Susie uses the word "sus" and Noelle responds with "Haha nice reference!", to which Susie replies with "Huh? Reference?" which could mean that she's either: A. shortening the word in her own way, OR, B. she heard other kids use it and thus adapted it into her lingo and didn't know about it coming from a video game.

A. Now if it were just her saying it in her own way, that wouldn't entirely destroy the theory at all, it would just mean she didn't know about it because she isn't involved with much people. It also can't be her shortening the word because she can't pronounce it as she says "suspicious" perfectly when she tells Kris to search for clues. (<- The unlikely scenario)

B. Susie heard it at some point from a bunch of kids using the word, but literally does not understand what the source is/was from because she likely doesn't have access beyond what she can feasibly find, hell, judging by her "favorite foods" in the dark world, its not much. (<- The LIKELY probability)

Among Us came out around in June 2018 but the term "sus" wouldn't surge in popularity until like... 2021 (yes i fucking know it existed before, that isn't the damn point), which is likely means if Susie were to have heard it/know about it, it would have to be post-2018 (which it in fact, IS) BUT pre-2030.

So in conclusion, I was correct to pay attention to Among Us but over-complicated the rest of the process, now it isnt to say 1997 isn't important or "ALL MY LIST ARE WRONG, HELLO AND GOODBYE!", but, now that I know, or at least, got a proper clue, well, I can now put some stuff together & potentially correct some possible errors.

Things I've thought through again:

The Holidays & Dreemurs

1997 could MAYBE be the year both Rudy & Carol got together, i mean, considering it's existence is tied to Spamton's [[Commemorative Ring]] and it's price tag "being his favorite year" and getting a "call from someone special", it could very well mean that the two got married and then eventually had Dess, hence the obsession around it. Could also easily just be tied to the reference, problem is that it could also very well easily be a tony trick, a joke at first, a deeper meaning later on. We really don't get a clear idea as to what tech but if I had to guess, the only "modern" things would probably be: Kris' Phone (clearly a Smartphone during Chapter 4) Noelle's TV (An HDTV) Although, if anything that kinda shows that "special treatment" that Kris & Noelle get. Although i think whats a whole lot weirder is the fact that the net in HOMETOWN seems to use Internet Explorer since there is that one missing page..? The Wallpaper in Chapter 1 was from 2016 and not 2010, which technically speaking was when deltarune started development (according to Toby Fox, although i may be thinking about the TV World Track, which was when he started conceptualizing some things for deltarune). Considering the idea of Dess being older is just fanon or purely speculative, it's likely that Dess was roughly apart of the same 'age group range' as Azzy, Noelle, & Kris in order for Noelle to classify "all four" of them as kids. Carol Holiday holds a LOT of power over the school, which is VERY apparent since she can just straight up cancel school if Noelle is unable to get there (i mean sure she's the mayor but its very ridiculous dontcha think?). Additionally, it means she is intentionally keeping the classroom(s) where the Grand Fountain is completely locked away. Assuming that Kris is like... 16 or something, then its likely they were born in... 2008? At the same time, who knows. Asgore has a Black Shard & not a Shadow Crystal, both items are very distinct in the Light World (BS is a small opaque chip while Glass only gets described by Kris' Touch) & Dark World (BS becomes a Dagger-Like Knife while SC is described as looking like water). Although, if I had to hazard a guess as to why Kris only opts to feel the Glass rather than examine it, it may have to do with it's USE (where Kris is likely more able to do so since they are opting to use it) but also the 1225 Room where Kris obtains a "Shadow Crystal" , additionally, the idea of it being "slippery" greatly matches the Shadow Mantle's very description. Regardless of what it may be, considering that Mother 3 has been mentioned, it is VERY likely that Asgore in deltarune is a slight mirror to Flint from Mother 3, and if the thing he has is a Black Shard, that makes the Black Shard the Drago's Fang, which if you ever played Mother 3, you know what it's used for. Additionally, if Dess is the Roaring Knight, then that makes her the Masked Man. Which means that would have to make someone into Porky, which if i had to hazard a guess, it's likely gonna be Carol.

OLD MAN & OTHER ODDITIES

Gerson Boom is said to have died "a few years ago" but seemingly before they could become Kris' Teacher.

This alleviates a LOT of the weird time funkery that was happening with the prior version of DATE ANALYSIS, as things have a bit more room to breathe now because of a single fan comic made me realize that there year 202X was listed on Ralsei's Manual.

I forgot that Gerson referred to "Lord of the Hammer" in Chapters rather than Books.

There is apparently some debate that Chapter 6 was already written & Gerson was referring to Chapter 7 being the last one he needed to write, but I am a bit dubious to this because the way i read it was: "After I finished Chapter 5, i couldn't think of anything & got stuck, then I ended up dying before I could do anything, but when I came back, I had hoped my son would pick up the pen for me & continue my story, but he never did." But the way others have read it was: "Gerson intentionally skips Chapter 6 probably as a means to not "spoil" what happens after that Chapter" which honestly in hindsight... sounds like a very Toby Fox/Gerson way of thinking + there were a couple of things in that battle text that i accidentally glazed over/misread on accident, not sure how but I blame my poor sleep. OH THAT REMINDS ME! The connection between Gerson & Toby feels almost palpable, because the way i interpreted "the story swallowing up the author" & "message to Alvin" was basically Toby Fox saying: "Your first thing doesn't have to be a BIG SHOT, because if you do that, it may just swallow you whole! In fact, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to exist, you're gonna mess up, but that's okay, because that means you get to learn from your mistakes." It especially rung true when he spoke about "irony" poisoning a story, which immediately made me recall what someone had said about their favorite aspect with UNDERTALE, that it was genuine in a time where cynicism & irony was rampant, that it meant what it said and never went "haha just kidding!" Honestly after i mulled over Gerson's dialogue with LOTH & advice, it made me wonder if Toby Fox was talking about deltarune, in that he tried to start big at first, but quickly realized that by doing so, it kinda got, glooby, grim, depressing, all to the point that it made him stop and go "... this isn't really good." and start over. I wonder if that's why UNDERTALE contains fragments/hints to deltarune, I mean if I am not mistaken, when he spoke about his game, he said he wanted it to be dark or something, right? I wonder if they are simply the remnant of that "poison" Gerson described. Because lets be real, Toby isn't perfect, and i doubt he became a god-like game dev, especially not after Halloween Hack, infamous for it's (2000s) edginess & full of "fuck you guys" of game design in it. Like even after his fever dream, he likely needed to mull it over since obtaining your source from a dream, while awesome, may have made toby notice there were some potential issues regarding it, I mean, he's gone and said that he is unsure if people would like the ending.

There are only 5 Shadow Crystals & Eggs. The Eggs are probably much more interesting to me since the player (SHOULD) only learn about it by Chapter 3 & it's neglected during the schedule. Also it follows that weird "55" thing which translates to LV, much like with how Noelle's HP drops down & stays at 55 during Snowgrave (something i had completely forgotten about).

In fact, considering Chapter 3 isn't spoken about by Man as he lists the schedule, a part of me is keen on believing that Chapter 3 was not meant to exactly happen the way it did, now yes, while it was mentioned by the prophecy & Gerson, it feels more like it wasn't "meant to be" because of the events of Chapter 1 + 2 and how things did not go "according to plan."

Although, if Chapter 3 wasn't supposed to happen, then that would likely explain what Gerson meant by

"There was only one more chapter… After that, It all stopped. That next book, it never did get written. The story, it became so grand, so overwhelming, Some say it swallowed up the author himself." and the reality is that, there was only meant to be Six Chapters, but because of Chapter 3, it made things... weird, dire, depressing (which is exactly what deltarune Chapter 3 is full of: a "normal adventure" with slight hints of something darker lurking beneath before violently erupting out of the light) Perhaps that is why the Eggs exist.

"ERAM" (MANTLE) & Mini Kris (also Ramb)

King's Mantle is likely the Shadow Mantle, as searching up "King's Mantle" without deltarune included, just gave me the flower, however, said flower is of two colors, purple & yellow, while not exactly pink & yellow, its close enough, another reason i feel its important to point this out has to do with what "his" Mantle transforms into, a Butterfly (which vaguely resembles Black Sword Tail [[or any "tail winged" butterfly tbh]] + when ERAM hides their mouth when they escape, it looks like it is intended to be a butterfly).

A part of me is dubious of Ramb being ERAM, mainly due to whats mentioned by some of the NPCs about "Bit-Kris passing by" that some have pointed out already, additionally, Bit-Kris being from the video game also means they can push things & collect items. (Plus, Susie likely would have noticed a darkener being petrified whereas Kris is the one who is simply not phased and calls them "statues"). (Also, Mantle already being present in Chapter 1) Although, this raises more questions with Mini-Kris than Ramb. Additionally, while likely unrelated, we have seen butterflies before, specifically with EVERYMAN, in addition, since amalgams are amorphous beings that sorta skulk around in the darkness of the True Lab, its sorta like how the dark is like when you were a kid, where your mind tries to make something out in the dark but is unable to, just like how Ralsei describes the darkness, and what appearance does FRIEND use during said description? The Endogeny. (Slightly Relevant) Might be the reason why the Queen Statue ends up in Acid River first instead of the Berdly Statue (it likely would have gone there but it was too big) because to Darkeners, statues are the equivalent to a dead body, or basically fossils. Plus, we've seen how Darkeners react to other Darkeners becoming Statues, except that one Pippin, fuck that guy, as for the Church Darkeners, it sorta ties into what Toby stated in the 6th Anniversary Stream (in that Darkener's Behavior is tied to exposure level of the Fountain & overall status of the Fountain itself) + what we've already seen in the game with King & that one Darkener found in one of the "ATRIUM" Rooms (in that they can become delirious).

Man & Perspective.

During Chapter 4's Egg Room, we (Kris & Us) enter a Dark Room that is implied to have something inside, only problem is that its unclear if this is purely darkness OR if it's simply out of view because "we" are not in there (like Project Zomboid). Now, it is likely the latter since its evident Kris can see what is happening in the room & describes some of it to us, however, the very moment they start drawing, the perspectives change from Second Person, it is no longer "You", it is "Kris", meaning Kris isn't narrating and neither are we.

So now you may ask, who can it be then? Well, there are currently two people in that with us, "Someone" and Man, "Someone" is already busy, but Man isn't. Man is our narrator in this moment, someone who can see "in the dark" and who seems to be surrounded by Darkness most the time. Now, if it was the former (pure darkness), that would also mean Kris could see in the darkness as well too, which could be related to the "visual" for the dark zones, that being Sound, although that would make ERAM's "CAN YOU?" question weirder, is it Kris they are referring to? or Us?.

Ralsei & The Prophecy

Ralsei's insistent "trying to change the outcome of things" & lack of self-worth, is actively contributing to the prophecy since he himself is tied to the prophecy, anything he likely attempts to do differently likely results in the prophecy correcting itself + his lack of social skills also stem from this & is VERY much an issue prior to Chapter 4:

CHAPTER 1 0. Ralsei hiding his face using the Hoodie and then immediately being told to remove it by Susie because it makes him harder to hear. 1. Ralsei telling Susie what to do and being critical about her messing up the Battle against King C. Round, which then results in her joining Lancer because Susie does NOT like being told what to do, especially from a stranger who acts all "im mr perfect and cute :3" 2. Ralsei healing the King, thinking that being nice will make a difference, when the simple truth because King is currently delirious from high levels Darkness / Shadow Exposure, he can not be reasoned with & should likely be dealt with in a more professional manner (aka, pacified & brought AWAY from the Fountain). CHAPTER 2 1. Ralsei tries to go "U-Uh thats not apart of the rules... also Kris is the Main Character, so they are allowed to ACT" to which Susie goes "That's bad game design, shut up fluffy man, we ACT for ourselves now." 2. After you defeat Spamton NEO, you get the choice to say if youre okay or not, now, people often choose no but... In my opinion + while comparing both scenes, Yes, is the correct answer since & actually prevents Ralsei from him inflicting his negative aspects onto Kris since: "No" results in the Ralsei lying to Kris that it likely means nothing (which in truth, its DEFINITELY TIED TO KRIS' FATE) and to not think about it too much, which doesn't result in Kris ever responding. Also with what we know now, Kris knows what's going to happen (& likely wants that to change) & so does Ralsei, problem is, Ralsei is too much of Fatalist & is awful at Socializing that it only contributes to the problem) = (Successful Ralsei L & Failed Susie W) "Yes" however, results in Susie being the first to go "... If you say yes all strained like that, i'm not gonna believe you" which then results in Susie going "hey, does kris look good to you?" and Ralsei going "Maybe they dont wanna think about it, lets not bring it up, okay?" to which the two do their best to distract Kris from what just happened, which DOES result in Kris responding (in which they ask if they could use Susie's Jacket, which is likely a behavior tied to Dess) and Susie noting that Kris seems to be in a better mood now after her "nerd scented candles" comment. = (Susie W & Rare Ralsei W) CHAPTER 3 1. Ralsei feeds into Tenna's Behavior while attempting to cheer up Susie at the same time by doing his game show. 2. Ralsei basically putting it bluntly to Tenna when trying to tell him that they NEED to close the Fountain (probably because he was personally getting annoyed), which induces a mental breakdown in Tenna and causes him to become unstable. 3. Ralsei telling Tenna that he needs to accept that Lightners no longer have a use for him and that he is worthless, however, before Tenna is allowed to mull it over, Susie THANKFULLY steps in and ACTUALLY does the better job at telling Tenna "Look, i know what its like to feel worthless." CHAPTER 4 1. Ralsei tells Susie to not do anything or to not press forward so quickly, problem is by doing this, he is basically only making the problem worse and by trying to "go ahead" he is only getting left behind. 2. Ralsei telling Susie to leave more grievous wounds to him basically applied the same hurt she felt from Chapter 1 but clearly hid away since she was still masking, here however? Thats like having a friend go "hey, leave this to me, just go sit back there okay?" while sure, it likely wasn't the case, it still hurts (i know because it kinda hits home & made me go ": \ oh. ow.")

Ralsei also may be in the same boat as Tenna & Spamton, in the sense that, they know about Kris' Intentions & are likely trying to help them steer clear of something drastic, hence why i also feel like the Kris Slash Theory has stronger foundation since it would imply that he did know Kris was working with the Knight and may need to do something if things don't go as planned + explain why he doesn't bring it up after you get back up.

Additionally, it'd explain why he always goes "Isn't Susie nice?" because he's probably trying to get them to like her and not hurt her, which is why he gets caught off guard by her getting SWOONed by Kris, because they literally struck her unconscious which fun fact... can kill someone.

Of course, it's very likely Kris ALSO has a gun aimed at their head, and I mean, technically speaking in that moment they actually did because I mean like... The Knight ain't goofing about so Kris literally has to hint to them that "hey uhhh they're actually gonna kick your ass if you don't fake your defeat right now." (granted you no-hit, but i like to think this happens regardless, its just that No-Hit makes this more noticeable for the player since they are so locked the fuck in, they notice Kris acting sus).

(Jeeze louise it feels like all these funny glorbos got guns aimed at their heads....)

I have my own personal theories with the fluffy boy but one of them feels... weirdly fitting since it'd explain as to how or why he knows so much, that being he is the last Shadow Bearer, where his behavior is akin to the Jevil but rather than go "HAHAHA I KNOW EVERYTHING IS FAKE, NOTHING MATTERS BECAUSE ITS A VIDEO GAME!" he went "Nothing matters... oh god... I'm gonna be sick..." in the same way someone experiences existential dread and begins having a mental breakdown, that they've begun masking it with "I'm fine! Look I'm happy cute goat haha! I-I can handle it! I can handle being... fake. ^u^," when in truth... they need someone to give them a hug & actually tell them they are worth something to someone.

That's one theory and the other one is Ralsei being our Vessel, which has only gotten slightly stronger thanks to someone pointing out that Ralsei should have known what a movie was since he would have been with Kris since the start.

That and Ralsei wasn't around when Kris & Dess (presuming she is "that girl") played together. Since the only ones Ramb ever mentioned were: King (everyone but Lancer?), Queen (which implies the existence of their denizens such as Swatch, Spamton & Nubert), & Tenna (actually, that would explain why everyone starts leaving Tenna, because its 2024, there is no more need for TV, just about everyone's got everything they need). No mention of a Prince. So, Ralsei's a recent addition, alone, discarded, kinda like that trash can that he gets should you not grab a single furniture item by Chapter 4.

Actively adding/adjusting this post & it will be a struggle as my net keeps being a shit until further notice.

October 31st 2016 - Halloween Night.

Somewhere around here, the families met, Kris & Dess meet, they create the Lore for the Dark World(s), then Dess vanishes one day, Kris represses something they saw, Asgore has encountered something in the past related to THE KNIGHT & obtained a Black Shard because of it, Carol becomes more controlling & obsessed with potentially the Dark Fountains & Prophecy, Noelle attends the contest & gets 2nd Place while Berdly gets 1st Place.

October 31st 2016 - Halloween Night.

October 31st 2024 - Chapter 1

Noelle was intended to go with Susie & learn of the Dark Worlds (& presumably Kris was likely to follow considering their absence would be noticeable), becoming The Girl while Susie was meant to be "The Dragon"/ an obstacle that was meant to be overcome much akin to Berdly during Chapter 2, but evidently that didn't go according to plan.

November 1st 2024 - Chapter 2 + 3

I guess with their hands being forced, they just "throw" Noelle violently into a Dark World along with Berdly, CLEARLY Spamton was intended to in-act a plan that would help with Freedom but something completely changed, we do sorta see this with Weird Route but due to the fucked up nature of Weird Route itself, it doesn't really turn out well for Spamton.

Because Susie tells Noelle that its just a dream, its either likely protecting Noelle from fate itself or making things worse..? We have yet to see. However, its VERY likely that because of this, its what makes them (Carol) go "Fuck it, Kris, open a dark fountain in your home, we are pushing this shit to the limit, get in contact with the Knight, and tell them to be ready to collect two sacrifices"

Then Chapter 3 happens and shit just sorta goes to fuck nearing the end, while "they slash them" theory is highly debated, its my personal belief that it is true as its clear that Kris is VERY adamant to make people shut the fuck up about the Knight or breaking character, and likely has a gun aimed at Ralsei's head in this regard to the point that when Susie goes down, he genuinely gets caught off guard and probably asked Kris "how could you" probably because he wasn't expecting it to be so brutal.

November 2nd 2024 - Chapter 4

toriel meeting sans may have inadvertently prevent her from getting kidnapped again? Plus, depending on which sans is currently in deltarune, perhaps they can't have any witnesses..?

Police sacrifice next week (could either mean "tomorrow next week" or "sometime next week", which considering there are only 3 chapters remaining, I'm betting on the former).

November 3rd 2024 - Chapter 5

The Festival Begins

Something important, something not too important:

Someone pointed out that Jockington is suffering from the same "goner"-symptoms that the Goner-Related Folk are displaying, people also have pointed out that Jockington's Beard is a 5'O Clock Shadow + the weird similarity to the Unknowns behind the Waterfall

2. Saw someone point out that Ralsei being Kris' Horn Headband doesn't make sense in regards to Chapter 3 as Ralsei should have known what a movie(s) were BECAUSE of Kris' Past with the horn headband.

3. Someone recently made a theory regarding the Eggs being the result of deltarune's ErrorHandler replacing something being given by Man, which honestly would explain why it's an "egg" when in truth its something else, honestly, i am now more inclined to believe that Man is Gaster or somehow related because if the Egg's are a result of the ErrorHandler, THEN that would further prove that it IS HIM or related to HIM, because Gaster does NOT exist. Thus he can not be referred to, if he is "inputted", it will immediately cause the game to restart & undo it, because there is something in there preventing him from gaining entry & anything he gives can not exist properly.

Although, some believe that perhaps Man is doing something that GASTER doesn't want, considering that the Chapter 4 Achievements on PS4 dont appear if you obtain the Eggs, its making me wonder if those Eggs are necessary to like, "dethroning" him from his "elusive" existence.

4. Susie is potentially a hybrid, due to her comment towards the Ambulance Enemy which seems to imply that she's had many medical checkups & doctors don't got a clue as to what she exactly is or what is wrong with her (she's a medical mystery). It'd also likely explain as to how she can bleed, but, in order to confirm that, we would need to see if other monsters bleed in this universe first, which we haven't.

5. Kris' Thoughts are "our choices." The only time they are not is when:

Now, you may ask "then why does Kris think of the worst choices?" because Kris, much like you, is a living being with mistakes and flaws. Hi! Over the last year or so I've been working on a sort of essay about various themes in the raven cycle series, and I finally finished it a few weeks ago.

1. Introduction

So here’s the thing: I love fiction almost as much as I love my friends. There’s something deeply comforting about the escapism, even if the book actually makes me want to scream and throw it on the floor (only one book has been thrown so far, I promise!).  Fiction is a healthy thing to occupy my thoughts with: headcanons! Quotes being on loop in my brain! Just fandoms!

And for me, if I am hooked on a book (series), it does not even need a good plot where a lot of things happen. In fact, I would say that my enjoyment of a book is made up of 30% plot and about 70% characters and vibes. If the characters are bland, if they do not make me feel much emotion, it likely won’t be more than 4 stars (additional info: I am way too nice rating books!). I really, really need to love the characters, to be able to relate to some aspects of them, or it just won’t become an obsession.

Since I have already started explaining that a bit, let’s look at this question: What is important to make a book special to me? 1. I need to cry reading it. 2. I have to think about it often, even weeks to months after having read it. 3. Obviously, I need to love the characters. 4. I need to be in the fandom! This can be hard with some books, but the internet is a whimsical space allowing you to find at least a small number of people who are obsessed with a work of fiction to a similar extent as you are.

Now, why am I elaborating on this so much? It’s because The Raven Cycle did all that for me. It is my favorite comfort book series at the moment, for all those aspects mentioned, but of course I cannot just leave it at that. No, I wrote a whole-ass analysis on headcanons and some of its themes. You’re welcome.

2. What even is The Raven Cycle?

The Raven Cycle is all I adore and live for (next to my friends). So, naturally, it’s a book series, specifically a four book young adult contemporary fantasy series by American author Maggie Stiefvater. The books in question are: The Raven Boys (2012), The Dream Thieves (2013), Blue Lily, Lily Blue (2014) and The Raven King (2016), and yes I will admit that the publishing dates are a bit of a red flag. There is also the very relevant follow-up series called The Dreamer Trilogy (Call Down The Hawk, Mister Impossible, Greywaren), but it’s a lot less easy to get into that here as I do not know these entire books by heart, so I’ll stick to the original tetralogy here.

To stick to red flags, the books are set in the fictional Henrietta, a rural town in non-fictional Virginia, US, in the 2010s. However, that doesn’t really say *that* much about the plot, so let me summarize that really quick, because I can do better than the official synopsis! (Or let’s pretend I can.)

Blue Sargent comes from a family of psychics, yet she does not have any powers of her own. Even worse, she is a bit of an amplifier for the others, meaning she is always somehow but never directly involved in the business. As if that isn’t enough for an identity crisis, every psychic she has ever met has told her that her kiss would kill her true love. Yikes.

But because she is that amplifier, she comes to a church watch on St. Mark’s Eve, where psychics see the spirits of those to die within the following year. It’s important business, but to her it’s really just staring into the dark. Until she does actually see a spirit: That of Gansey. Of course this is not a coincidence. No, to add to this teen’s mount of problems, there are only two reasons why a non-seer would see someone’s spirit: They are their true love, or they killed them. Or, in Blue’s case, maybe both.

The aforementioned Gansey is Henrietta’s Golden Boy, the son of politicians (read: he’s fucking loaded). He does not run with the Republicans though, he runs with dead Welsh kings, meaning he has been searching for the probably dead, presumably sleeping Welsh king Glendower (*1350; †1416; yikes) for the past like seven years. Why the fuck would he do that? Well, legend says that he will grant a wish to whoever wakes him, and our favorite PTSD-ridden guy really wants that favor.

Aiding him are fellow Aglionby students Adam Parrish, Ronan Lynch and Noah Czerny, plus Henry Cheng, though only a lot later in the series, but I really did not want to leave out that menace (affectionately) here. The paths of Blue and the boys cross because of Gansey’s search for Glendower, plus the fact that Blue works at a popular pizza place, but that’s a lot less whimsical. And, well, there’s the implication that Gansey might also be her true love, but perhaps she just kills him because of his bad fashion sense, it would be justified. Anyway, in true Famous Five fashion (Ronan is the dog; I won’t elaborate, the girls that get it, get it) they are of course not the only ones searching for the king, so it’s not completely a wholesome friend bonding activity all the way through.

Be prepared for: friendship and growing up, lots of treasure hunting, family mysteries, magical forests, illegal and slightly distasteful activities (our favorite of course), but most of all, heavily queer-coded (or even canonically queer) characters. Be Gay, Do Crime.

then i got my hands on internet and when i was browsing funny videos, i found two songs that resonated with me a lot- Take Me Away by Avril Lavigne, and i think Bring Me To Life by Evanescence. (soundwise only though, I didn't speak english back then, and I'm still kinda shit at hearing lyrics so I don't rly care about them tbh)

with the start of high school i became a weeb so my music library had now anime op, ed and ost. but also, once again, i heard in one video song Heart of Courage by Two Steps From Hell which made me go down new rabbithole - genre called back then epic music, idk if it has proper genre name. mosty orchiestral and choral music that makes you feel high stakes and ready for epic battles or is soosoooo sad. they're used as movie sountracks. i searched for them by youtube recommendations and companies so idk what movies they were ever used in. it was a brief phase, but made me soooo pretentious about it lmaoooo and i made back then playlists that are great to try get into studying mood

so i was finishing high school. and it was 2015. you know what hit back then? that's right. five nights at freddy's

i became obsessed with the hidden lore and theorized with others and on one of the forums about it ppl posted most popular fansongs, you know, fnaf1 song by TLT, It's Been So Long, and also some mando

it fucked severely, again, and i became enamored with it so i went to hunt more fansongs. in the process i gained appreciation of these independent artists so i also checked out every single of their songs

Aviators especially is still my go-to music, the one im recognized for by everyone who i made listen to my music before lmaoo

he's great. but. scouting his videos i found Amazing vocals in some songs tht definitely weren't his. and ohhh my god. all of these were remixes or collabs with/of Lectro Dub

this guy's voice is FIREEEEEE

his music needs some getting used to, it's very raw, but once I'm hooked I'm HOOKED

(also with aviator's great mastering they make fantastic combination. all their collabs are to die for)

lectro released once album Unfinished Business with tracks he gave up on, and this album has been living rent free in my head for 8 years now. when i want to sing, i always sing one of these songs

wait wait also back to epic music. it is wholly instrumental, and i started missing having something to sing along to. and at the end of one compilation, World On Fire by Les Friction played and hoooo... life changing experience. the epic music instrumental and Paint's vocals are divine mixture. found 2 other bands that work similar way, Globus and All Good Things

one person i follow once recommended Solo Leveling (before anime was out) and hooo boy. it got me down bad for manhwas. you mean comics can have anime stylization, not be as hard to read as b&w mangas, and look cool as fuck?? hooly shit.

i devoured it like crazy, and since then have been going down manhwa rabbithole. there have been weeks when I've read 25 series per week. i probably have now over 1000 titles read

so that's how i discovered orv haha;;;; i was surprised as fuck that one of my manhwas finally has some fandom post and- wait what HOW MANY??? (<- guy who always searched for fans of manhwas i especially liked and found like 2 posts usually)

oh yeah. games. I'm not rly a gamer bc it's too much commitment, but in 2014 I've been a Huge otome games player. i spent all my days playing, doing dailies and minigames in 15 games at once, keeping in mind regeneration times of all of them so i can switch between apps at the perfect moment haha

that's how I've gotten into Mystic Messenger eventually, which has been one of my bigger fandoms (again. just like with manhwas I couldn't believe one of otomes has such big fandom when previously they had no posts at all)

all of these (maybe except binging manhwas turned into one day lasting obsession) are things of the past though;;;; i don't think i had any longer lasting interest after orv, I've been in a void ever since. oh maybe Disco Elysium. but that was also already like 1-2 yrs ago

other games i rly liked at some points were Assassin's Creed series, Dishonored, Saint's Row 4, Mirror's Edge, Genshin, Fnaf, Fnafb (most iconic game ever tbh), Cytus II

from irl huh... I'm not into anything atm. i attend drum and painting classes and i find it enjoyable but im not super into it. I've been a cosplayer for 6 years, and at first i was REALLY into it, hyperfocus madness creating before cons, but i lost that drive completely now. still quite proud of my work though

I've tried some hobbies here and there and none rly sticked, but i have a lot of vague skills thank to it lol (jack of all trades master of none will resonate with me forever)

thus i dabbled a little in: crochet, embroidery, clay sculpting, stone and wood carving, sewing, paper mache sculpting, painting, drawing, digital drawing, writing, plushie making, playing badly instruments or using things as instruments, training singing, weaving (fabric and wicker)

i enjoy soooo so much going to workshops i attend each and every i can (that's how i found my current classes). i need someone to tell me what to do and prepare the materials bc I'm not a creative person 😩😩 and on workshops, a time specifically made for this one thing, i can focus without any distraction, so that's how 95% of my art got ever made. literally all of my non-cosplay crafts. yayay fun :)

uhh if it counts until the end of high school i was a gifted student, especially in math. always had effortlessly high notes and i skipped all homeworks. especially in elementary school i participated in many regional tourneys from every subject

for a short time i attended shooting classes in a shooting range (got kicked out for sucking at it 😔) but later i used that knowledge to win a small competition. and that's my only trophy

for as long as i remember I'm the designated baker at home, and bake all cakes (usually 3) for christmas and easter so i think i got rather good at it. and also i used to cook complex recipes, and now i make shit up as i go. so I'm rather decent cook. but I don't enjoy either of these and find it a chore and a fucking drag

i trained singing regularly as a hobby for idk maybe 3 years, so i picked up a lot of techniques and knowledge about it. my voice is not good even after allat though, but at least, i tried ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

then, when she grew up, she found joy in singing and started a band with some guys, and they became her first real friends. she shows affection by playful bullying >:)

eventually she dated the guitarist but they broke up bc their fathers were in conflict, which also made the group disband. and you can TELL that years later she's still hung on it

she has solo music career and hangs out with other singers, but keeps them somewhat at a distance. others see her as an older sister figure. she seems kind and calm, but you can Feel her depression and sadness that's so ingrained into her. also the songs picked for her in-game repertoire fuck severely. check out Velkinta
