watching heated rivalry has reawakened a part of me that i haven't felt in a while- this obsession, waiting anxiously for the next episode (esp since they come out weekly, as god intended), so excited to see everyone's reactions and edits, AKA FANDOM. all this for a show ab gay hockey players. and it makes me think while we have SO much progress to make, the fact that a show like this is being aired and we're ALL watching it, and it's not the only one rn. like i've watched multiple shows lately with a queer couple in them, unintentionally (random name drops: the walking dead, the chair company, stranger things, i love la) and i bet you can think of other shows that have aired, are currently airing, or are soon to air with even a minor queer character in them. and this is small but also so big to me. TO ME. and yknow what. tonight's episode of heated rivalry i could've cried so many times but the ending with kip and hunter... im not kidding when i tell you i was throwing myself around on my bed from joy okay lol i WAS NOT expecting him to do it. shit, i thought maybe he'd show kip his banana socks at least but he one upped me. as an avid book reader, im so glad this is one of the things i had not heard of till now so i can experience this for the first time. but i could've cried. that inspired the fuck out of me. you HAVE to be yourself, love loudly if you can, be that representation for someone. be seen! i know had i been in that crowd, i would've left changed. and you can do that for people irl. that's so crazy to me. A PEP IS IN MY STEP.

A small looping bgm that I made for a game that is taking a while to finish. Gamedev sucks as an artistic outlet, since things take ages to finish, but hopefully posting at least some small in-progress parts will help keep the motivation up.
