phones/the internet weird me out like i really don’t think we’re meant to know this much about each other. like do u ever think about how online you’re just constantly bombarded with the opinions of complete strangers. and the way people talk so disrespectfully to others as if anyone would be that bold in real life esp bigots. and also how u can share your location with ppl like is it really okay to just be able to check up and see where ur friends/family/whoever are at all times….idk. sometimes i just want to be alone and have no one know where i am and what i’m doing

I feel far enough removed from events to say I found it really weird how people started going through Luigi Mangione’s social media doing entire autopsies of his posts likes etc the moment his face and name were publicized. Was I the only one who found that weird???

is anyone else like… mildly perturbed by the fact that the N,Y/P,D can just… like, find footage of an otherwise masked suspect from a month ago within twenty four hours? like. that’s a lot of cameras, and either a lot of manpower or pretty sophisticated tech that they can track down this person’s whereabouts and activities that clearly

IDK if I’ve talked about this here before but aside from a few high school friends who already know how weird I am, nobody knows who I am on Tumblr and that is.... upsettingly precious these days?  Like Twitter has just become another place where I have to be professional.  Even my *likes* are published, and have to be curated and performed for the people in my field who follow me.  

Like, I logged on to twitter to take a break from work and it’s just more work.  IDK when I decided to follow people in my profession but it’s basically one giant networking site now.  It’s all people tweeting about my job.

The internet used to be fun!!!! Now it’s just capitalism!!! And work!! And professionalism!!! Let me escape!!!! Let me tweet about Batman without my advisor seeing it!!!
