FEBHYURARY Day 01: At the Beginning

Not everyone was as excited to begin their work on Oizys as Odette.

Conners #i don't...... love these so i almost skipped day one but listen i took them so i might as well post them!!!!#the next days are more fun i just always struggle with “intro” day 1s (':#so anyway the beginning is the beginning of Oizys research and gathering efforts #Prudence is the artist among them so 100% she's the one taking photos and also marking them up because she hates (“hates”)#Tempy and her lil' girlfirend #also i realized while prepping for this month that Odette/Pru/Temp/Aevi make a lovely light party #and yes for the most part they are running 1 tank (odette) and 3 DPS #but sometimes Aevi will heal for them #sometimes.#i haven't decided what her healing class is yet !!!#scholar is right there ofc cause she's a summoner #but there are also two forms of healing that come out of her home city so like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! much 2 ponder #so anyway i think in the WOL verse odette recruits Tempy and Aevi at some point #aevi joining because she gets the chance to meet and work with yshtola and tempy has her first moment of actual for real jealousy #even though yshtola has no such interest in Aevi beyond like......... someone to talk theory with and I think Aevi spends a lot of time #among the researcher scions (who for me are shtola graha and krile with the twins sometimes popping in to help)#i think by the time they get recruited Pru is so devoted to Odette that even though she HATES THIS she plays nice #also wow realizing that odette is pretty mistrustful of mages #not in a like 'burn them all' way but in a 'why is it always you poking at things you shouldn't be!!"#given her role in the cycle of things this makes sense to me anyway i gotta get OUT OF THESE TAGS GOODBYE

the tiktok of magnussen’s toddler demanding he go sign a fan’s autograph book and then blowing the fan a kiss when they say thank you is so maple coded, it hurts.

can see her doing that when daddy takes her along after playing a concert or a set and reader is letting her toddle about, watching to make sure she doesn’t stray near the fan barriers where rockstar!eddie and the rest of corroded coffin are signing autographs.

and maple notices daddy and her uncles are on the other side of the crowd now, but there’s a big girl waving around a book where daddy just was!!!!! daddy forgot her!!!

and maple just thinks, that’s okay, i’ll go get daddy for you! 🫡

and she hurries over to her dad, yanking at his pants and pointing over to the fan as she tries to physically pull him over. eddie is so amused with maple, but he knows she’s a demanding girl and he honestly didn’t mean to overlook that fan so he’s righting his wrongs and heading back over to sign her autograph book.

when he leaves, maple trailing after him—and you watching the whole exchange while trying not to squeal into your hands at how cute your little girl is—the fan yells out a thank you to maple, and you’ve taught her to blow kisses whenever she’s waving goodbye, so that’s what she does, blows the fans her kisses and waves her little hands before she’s toddling after daddy with mom right on her heels.
