Day 19, getting through this month. Monday was quiet, but I worked more on my cardigan than anything else. The drabble for @thedrabblecollective's challenge is a Sanctuary one, Sanctuhana, Mama!Magnus and her Son!Henry, post series, some Papa!Henry too (gonna stuff all the things in here). Hope you enjoy!

Helen found Henry flicking pebbles into the plunge pool. The waterfall sung - laconic, soft, and mellow - as if sensing the mood of its mortal visitors. The basking rock their mermaid favoured was Henry's perch. He sat alone, barefoot and cross-legged. Toeing off her own shoes, she sat next to him, listening to the roar.
“Alice said abnormal today.”
“Oh?”
Henry nodded, smiling. “Except she said it like Ashley did, when she was little.” The water's song carried on.
“Ab-orbal,” Helen murmured, smiling.
Leaning gently sideways, he rested his head on her shoulder, and remembered. “... I miss her.”
“As do I.”
