(Ok I know I’m a tiny-leaning shifter but I’m in a beeg fren mood so have this thingy I thought of for Kyle)

The state I found you in was heartbreaking enough, to see such a small person like you so badly injured tore me apart, but to find you on a war torn battlefield among corpses of soldiers from both sides? I nearly cry from simply thinking about it.

Once I got yah back to my ship you were so frightened, so unsure about trusting me, it hurt but at the same time I understood, I’ve been in your shoes more times then I wanna admit lil dude, thankfully you opened up to me and I’d even dare to say we bonded a little.

I don’t know what unholy circumstances lead you to be this way, or who or what did this to you, but I’ll watch over yah lil guy, I’ll get yah fixed up and bring you home. My bounty can wait, right now you need my full attention, and I’ll gladly give you that and more, whatever it takes to make you feel happy and safe, I’ll do it.

December 26th, 2021, the Monday after Christmas, in a universe basically exactly the same as ours, a large self righteous humanoid shark like race known as the Kraah decimate the earth, plunging it into an apocalyptic state, Kyles family being picked off one by one during the invasion and aftermath with him being the only survivor, until he was picked up by a group of zealot space nazis known as who worked under Atlas Corporation, where they picked off the remains of species and just unlucky souls in general to make them into powerful super soldiers for a war 10,000 years in the future that they weren’t even sure would come, he was put under gruesome genetic and cybernetic augmentation and ruthless training to be molded into the perfect soldier….until abt 3 months into the process where he along with all the other humans, had started a riot and escaped. Kyle along with the rest of the human lab rats all made it out together only to find out that what felt like 3 months for them, was actually 200 years everywhere else in galaxy, leaving him to be an orphaned relic of a now list age of strife, with earth being fully back on it’s feet with the help of some highly advanced aliens, even dawning a post- cyberpunk aesthetic like some other species have. He would eventually be found and adopted by the lead scientist of a space station and her husband who works for the station's private military/police force. And nowadays the now gun for hire Kyle does some odd mercenary/bounty hunting gigs along with other works, putting his augmented self to work and trying to make a living in this new and uncharted, at least for them, territory, and just trying to hide from and atlas forces as best he can.

The story and it’s characters are written by @vore-toast, I’ve had the biggest crush on Sybil for a while so this was a long time coming since, I also have the honor of making the first ever Sybil fanart too so there’s that >:3c.
