Backing this so hard. Our Phoenix Family @iamtamisharp is doing something she calls “Song a Day Challenge”. Like any challenge, sometimes it’s difficult. She does it anyway for her art, personal growth and to share with others. This is part of mental health. We have the ability to make a decision to do something and then do it! WE DID IT!!!! I just posted my final campaign update and you can read it on fb - insta wont let me post it all:) 🌸🌸🌸🌸💚🌸🌸🌸🌸🌛🌸🌸 Also, some people messaged me saying they found out about the campaign too late (turns out even with social media guerrilla tactics that happens) - so I managed to put up a few remaining perks up on my Bandcamp merch website (see bio link). Please note that Bandcamp does take a slightly bigger cut so I had to adjust accordingly, but there's also music from my previous EPs on there, so take a look if you're so inclined :) ) 🌸💜🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🍀🌸🌸 SHOUT-OUT to my amazing mother @milakapustinaphoto who helped me make these #songadaychallenge videos - make sure to follow her work if you liked the costumes and painting-like compositions - she's a Master of lighting!🌸🌸🌸⭐️✨🌜😊🌛🌟⭐️🌸🌸🌸 Now here's an excerpt of my final indiegogo update :) 🦋: "I didn't expect so many positive things to come from this campaign. Aside from the funding aspect (never in my dreams could I have raised this much all on my own!), I pushed myself to create new content every day (something I've never done before because I'm a perfectionist); I got new fans because of this; I reconnected with old friends I hadn't spoken to in ages; and as a result I think I broke facebook's algorithm because now I'm seeing posts on my feed from way more different people (take THAT, facebook!) :D This has been an incredibly enriching journey, and I feel like I'm just scratching the outer limits of what I can do. Two years ago I never would've thought I could do this - I was too shy, too afraid and too proud to ask for help with anything, and too insecure about my music. But a lot has changed, thanks to the people around me and my willingness to be vulnerable - and hopefully it will continue to change for the better! Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
