Been busy the past few months with work and studies, so I took a little break.

First morning at Hat Yai: Had Bak Kut Teh and Dim Sum. Second pic shows me holding up a chunk of pig's blood. Super delicious!

All I did was walk around and eat.

The golden mermaid statue, which sits on the edge of the rocks at Samila Beach is a popular spot for tourists to take souvenir photos. The statue was created from a combination of Thai folklore and literature called Phra Aphaimani. Legend has it  that this mermaid came up from the sea to comb her hair on Samila Beach. The Songkhla Municipality popularised this tale to attract tourists to Songkhla province
