Happyhoganon: How would you describe Fiona Fox's life?
Okay, okay… At first I thought it said “Happy Hogan On” and I laughed so hard XD I’m so sorry. The Marvel Fan in me got too strong there for a second.
With two words: tragic and garbage.
Everyone she trusted abandoned her in one way or another.
1. Sonic left her in prison as a child when he saved other people (granted he didn’t know she was there, so it wasn’t really his fault) but that’s going to leave some scarring
2. Her family left and didn’t give as much as a clue as to where they were going (and not to mention that they could have found her years later when she was part of the freedom fighters, becuase you’re going to tell me that the FF don’t appear in the news? Yeah, sure…)
3. Then the Freedom Fighter’s starts to distrust her because of her past as a thief and treasure hunter (because surviving in war doesn’t make people desperate), so much so that she becomes their enemy and goes with Scourge because as far as we’ve seen, he’s one of the few person who actually cares about her and didn’t leave her behind. In fact, he came back for her multiple times (yeah, their relationship has multiple faults and isn’t perfect, but that’s a complete different discussion I’m not going to have because I ship it and is totally biased).
Her life has been a constant challenge ever since she was a kid. I mean, just imagine having to dig your way out a prison at the age of like seven! That will have to scar you and leave some major trauma, and then to find out that your family has left you behind and your so-called friends now don’t trust you because of some bad desicions?
Yeah, I’d go evil, too. Ain’t nobody got time to deal with all that at the same time.
Yes, her character wasn’t completely developed, but I blame the reboot and the whole Ken Penders fiasco for that. She and Scourge had a story line the comic was working on and I was actually looking forwards to where they were going to take it, but because this asshole didn’t realise that when you create characters for a company, those characters are owned by said company, we are now never going to see where they were going to take her character.
