Hey guys, I wouldn't normally post stuff like this but I feel this is very important. Yesterday I was trying to watch Sean's stream (our Sean. Sean Chiplock. Sonicmega) but had a bad connection. What I could see that he hasn't started playing anything yet but he sounded very distraught.
It wasn't until I saw that yesterday's stream was uploaded to YouTube that I got the full story of why he is upset.
Guys... something is wrong. I think he might be sick (BIG MIGHT. I DON'T KNOW) and he is trying to spend as much time as he can spending it with people and doing things he likes to do before he feels his time is up. Especially since as you get older, the less time you have doing the things you love. Spend that extra time with people you love. Take 30 minutes to do something that makes you happy. I'm not talking about doom scrolling on social media. I mean play a game, read a book, cook that dessert you've wanted to taste
I don't think he's gonna kick the bucket soon, but he mentions his mom and that she passed when she was 40. He says he's been using that as a point of reference for his mortality. He is 35. Please let's give him as much love as we can give.
Edit: I'm adding this as a clarification because I do not want to accidentally spread a false rumor. This is my opinion.
I do not know Sean personally. I would suggest you watch the video at timestamps 29:26 to 51:19 and use your best judgement. During that talk, I got a feeling that something else was wrong. Could there be something medically wrong? I don't know and that's up to him whether he wants to disclose it or not. I thought he could be sick. HE hasn't said that he was sick.
What he HAS said is that he has been getting busier with work and having less time streaming games he loves to play and wants to share that with his followers and people he cares about. And he is very sad about that. He also fears his mortality since he is reaching the age his mom passed. Of what he did not say. That's not our business.
I think I've said what I needed to say. Making sure I dotted my i's and crossed my t's because I would feel horrible if what I said here got misinterpreted and cause a mess that no one needs.
