AaaaAAA! My Asks are finally going through!!
8 Asks for Amazing Artists Say that five times fast, eh?
I have so many questions I want to ask so many people, so I'm making the rounds, hoping to learn a bit about everyone. Answer as you wish!
What's the most time you've spent on a piece?
What motivates you to create?
What's one of your big creative goals?
What's your favorite part of the process?
What do you do that you think is unique?
What's the best compliment you've gotten for your work?
Have you ever commissioned someone? --what's the coolest thing you've received?
What's the most experimental piece you've made?
I was very surprised getting this from you. I don't exactly see myself as an artist (at least a drawing one anyway). I have written stuff though. And made Let's play videos.
What's the most time you spent on a piece?
For something I've wrote? For a chapter, I'd say maybe a few days. I have not finished a story (sadly) For videos, the most time I spent on a one would probably be the birthday special video when I was playing Tears of the kingdom. I know there was more than three hours (maybe four) of recording but editing took the longest. I'd say all together, 2-3 days.
What motivates you to create?
I like the idea of leaving something behind when I'm gone to show. "Hey I was here." Also for my kiddo to see so he can remember how my voice sounds like.
What's one of your big creative goals?
I'd like to create a canon/oc fanfic someday...and actually finish the damn thing! Also I would like to draw again to accompany some of the fics or even some of my videos. Like a VO but not animated? I think.
What's your favorite part of the process?
Feeling that spark of inspiration in beginning when making a character. I close my eyes and just imagine them coming to life and watch what they do and how they react to things in my head. If you ever watched those Looney Tunes episodes where one of the characters appears on a white background? Kinda like that.
For videos, it's the recording part when I react to seeing something unexpected when playing something for the first time.
What do you think that you think is unique?
uuuuh? I'm trying to understand what you mean. That everyone brings a style to the table.
What's the best compliment you've gotten for your work?
When someone reblogged one of my commentary posts of my TOTK LP and said that I was keeping an old tradtion alive.
Have you ever commissioned someone?
I have only commissioned something twice. The first one was a drawing of Rylen from Dragon Age Inquisition. The second was for my OC Noop.
What's the most experimental piece you've made?
I don't think I have done anything experimental. Not yet anyway.
Anyway thanks for sending the ask.
