1. Delagol, Protector of the Red Wood Blazon: "Per fess indented embowed gules and argent, a sword palewise argent sheathed gules."

Relocating to Twitter

Hello, everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has visited my blog or shared or interacted with me on here! I’m really grateful for all of your support! As much as I love tumblr I have decided to change how I post and share my art, and will from here out only be posting to my new(ish) Twitter account.

The Armorial Achievement of Michael Owens

Azure, a chevron burst Argent between in chief three bees in fess proper and in base a beehive Or. For a crest, The sun in his splendour Or. With the motto "Organize Yourselves" and the slogan “Break Through.”

These are the assumed arms of a friend (as designed by himself) who commissioned this illustration. These arms are subject to copyright and sole ownership belongs to Michael Owens.

My contest entry to design arms for a randomly selected member of our heraldry server. The recipient loves arms with a lot of symbolism in them, so I also provided a diagram of the meaning behind my design decisions.

Gules, an annulet fracted in base encircling a pallet issuant from its center Or, a chief wavy of one barry of three wavy of one Or and Gules.

Some super quick character concepts I made implementing and inspired by coat of arms other folks have designed for me. Tried to have some natural variety here despite all of them being knights of some kind. I might try to flesh these out into full illustrations at some point, but we’ll see.

An Alternate Armorial Achievement for Judah Powers

Azure, a pile issuant from chief in bend sinister fracted thrice argent. Issuant from base, a demi-sun or. In dexter, a rope tied in a overhand knot or. For a crest, a cap and saddle piebald cat sejant argent spotted paly cendreé and sable, wearing a ducal crown proper and a royal mantle azure.

These are (one of) the alternate arms of a friend of mine (as designed by himself) who commissioned this illustration. These arms are subject to copyright and sole ownership belongs to Judah Powers.

MEGA POLITOED

I was so excited to collaborate with Adrian Marceau on this concept that I just had to sketch it last night! This smug creature is inspired by the prototype version of Politoed from the Pokémon Gold & Pokémon Silver demo.
