i firmly believe mr tom "ice cold no mistakes" kazansky is really good with kids, not in the way that he's naturally at ease around them but in the way that he's just got a knack for looking after kids and communicating w them. AND i think kids love him like they see this big weird intense serious man and latch onto him and decide he's their favourite
i think he'd be super scared the first time he and mav look after bradley together bc he does know bradley but not closely yet and he's never had to actually look after him before but within like 20 minutes they're getting on like a house on fire and mav is like ohh my god i have to marry this man
why doesn't the big pilot eat the little pilot
