You’d think monsters would take priority when raiders and the SS would cross paths.

This… Isn’t a thing. Not unless you have literally no space for actual storage
We have two big 5,000 card boxes in the front for storage, but they’re nearly full of crap (which we should really just liquidate and be done with)
He was like “oh yeah, if anyone wants a certain card for game day we can just flip to the page and sell them a playset” and i’m like “yeah but why we gonna sell .25 cent commons out of a binder? thats what bulk is for???”
but i couldn’t stop myself from doing it anyway
I'm definitely on board with Emrakul being involved with the SOI storyline. However, I think that there's maybe more than just Emrakul at play: I'm on the Marit Lage train too. Mainly for the following two reasons: the Emrakul clues are there but seem almost obvious with just how abundant they are, so I'm of the mindset of some misdirection going on. Secondly, FtV Lore. With 15 cards and 1 token, there are two tokens that stand out in magic lore: Ashaya and Marit Lage, (cont'd)
(cont'd) the latter of which seems more likely as a cool exciting reprint for a FTV. And why would Dark Depths / Marit Lage be reprinted if there wasn't a current story tie-in? TL;DR: I think both Emrakul and Marit Lage are connected to the story of SOI and EM. Just my two cents, sorry if the anti-Emrakul folks are being butts.
that’s not enough to totally convince me since marit lage is really out of the blue (haha....jokes...but really FTV is totally separate from the ongoing storyline, vorthos theme or no) and having two different big noodles in one story seems like....a lot of noodles (not counting kozilek and ulamog as different noodles, since they were already a team), but i also don’t have any reason to think there’s not something else on innistrad, maybe even marit lage. “the drownyard temple” made me a little more confident that there’s not something in the ocean, that it’s just emrakul’s gravitational pull, and i think we’re going to find how why/how this is affecting the plane in such a fish-y way. however, bfz block had two eldrazi titans, the introduction of a new sideplot-villain, and the introduction of the gatewatch, all of which were interrelated but also Big Things, so yeah i definitely don’t expect for there to just be one big thing going on.
tl;dr go for it follow ur noodley dreams
