Sonya’s chapter is harder to write than David’s because 1) I have to fill in the plot holes left by Bethany Edsa, and 2) her story involves a bit of medical trauma, and that’s hard for me with my long complicated history of hating medical trauma. I can’t just take it out of the story because I’m her story starts with her getting shot in the head. So it’s unavoidable.

Anyway, I wrote a short little drabble for Sonya during Fluffy February, and you can find that on AO3

Their names are David and Sonya Knox. They’re married. And yes, they still go by those names post-war.

I think for both of them it was the day Shaun was born.
