none of y’all fuck with the dynamic between Vitriolic and Assimilation like I do. I get ill thinking about them. two not-quite-right creatures with the potential to be an unstoppable and deadly force but choose otherwise for the sake of restraint. to give in to their animalistic nature fully would be a sin; it would hurt the ones they love, they think, but when push comes to shove they will nod and surrender to it if it means the ones they care about survive. these two mutts with bloodied hands and teeth will spit at their upbringing and vow not to be the monster they were told they were. any barbarity they show will be on their own accord, to their own rules and tune. red and black like bruises on ichored skin, two cruel things that may find solace in the other.
