these are my stinkies. i have named them marie (left) and coco (right). they are very friendly strays that i've known since 2020, and i have been attempting for the better part of a yr to convince them that the inside is gooder than the outside. in the meantime tho, i would very much like to know what flavours they r. :]

(on a side note, coco is marie's daughter! how+why do they look so unalike? :0c)

marie looks like a black mackerel tabby with high white and coco looks like a black self tortoiseshell (potentially with low white? i think I can see a locket on her chest)!

simple answer for why they look so different - recessives and the sire. solid is recessive to tabby, so marie and the father must carry the gene for it. Additionally, coco got her father's red, making her a tortie!

the father was likely a red tabby, who may or may not have genetically been solid, with no white!
