Korean:

오늘은 일이 너무 지루해요. 나는 오전 10시에부터 한국어를 공부해요. 나는 한국어가 6년 배운데 하지만 나는 아직 조금 알아요. 나는 한국어를 매우 심각하게 받아들이지는 않아고 지금부터 한국어를 열심히 공부해요. 한국 수업을 중단했고 그래서 나는 이제 혼자서 공부해요. 나는 한국어 미래에 말을 잘하고 싶어요. 공부는 잘 할거에요. ^^

English:

Today's work has been boring. I've been studying Korean since 10A.M. I've been learning Korean for 6 years and I still only know a little bit. I did not take Korean very seriously but from today onwards, I will work hard on my Korean. I stopped going for classes and so I'm studying by myself. I hope to speak Korean well in the future. I will do well in studying. ^^

P.s.: starting today, I will be posting a diary-like pages talking about anything and everything. I will not only be providing a Korean text, but the English translation as well. The translation may not be as accurate and my Korean may not be fluent, but that's my purpose here; to continuously work on my Korean (and Japanese) so that I can become better at it.

I welcome feedbacks and tips, so if anyone wants to give me advice and tips in regards to my posts, I'm happy to receive them :)

2019년 4월 06일 내 아빠가 사망일 였어요. 내 아빠는 교통사고로 죽었어요. 요즘에는 내 아빠에게 아직 울어요. 나는 무엇을 했는데 잃어버렸어요. 나는 한국어를 또 노력을 공부해요. 초음에는 힘들했지만 나 한국어가 잘 하네요. 매일 매일 열심이 공부하고 쓰기를 연습해요. 아빠가 보고싶고 나 많은 얘기 말을 있어요. 내 마음을 엄청 아파요. 아빠가 아직 살아있길 바라요. 엄마과 동생들도 아빠를 보고싶어요. 나는 내년에 무덤을 방문하겠어요. 나도 방문을 수 있으면 좋겠어요. 그 때까지 아빠에게 기도를 하고 있어요.

English:

April 6th, 2019, was the death anniversary of my father. He died in a car accident. I still cry for him these days. I lost motivation to do anything. I try to study Korean again. At first, it was hard but I did good in Korean. Everyday, I study hard and practice writing. I miss my father, and I have a lot to tell him. My heart hurts a lot. I wish he was still alive. My mother and younger sisters miss him too. I will visit his grave next year. I hope I can visit. Until then, I will keep praying for him.

P.s.: This is a bit of a sensitive topic but I'm healing... slowly but gradually.

Day 5;

Practicing my hiragana. I find this completely useful as it helps with my photographic memory. I've tried many ways to remember hiragana and I've only managed to remember the "a" column.

Thanks to tofugu, I am able to remember the hiragana characters well. It takes a bit of time but this was better than I tried to create flashcards on my own.

VERB BASIC CONJUGATION - Past, Present & Future

This is my own notes for understanding the lesson better.

Verb conjugation is a little difficult to grasp at first but once you have learned to summarise it in your own words, you'll find that it's not that hard to comprehend.

I realised that I can do better with fully summarised notes rather than copying relevant points and then highlighting the most important points. It's just like mind-mapping but with no webs to segregate the points.
