doing some Thinking about the size of baby eridians…………… little fresh baby eridians must be So small!!! naturally i went into blender to get a visualization of how big they are to my brain and . oh my

1 square=1 inch, rocky model from the free action figure stl they have up on the website and sized to about proper proportions with a rygos-sized human. the baby eridian is a second rocky but with its legs halved in vertical size.

he lays the first tiny egg, which then merges into a second egg laid by his partner and grows to about twice its size. then from that second egg comes The Smallest Creature You Ever Did See. it's literally only two inches in diameter minus the legs. its legs are tiny and stubby. it squeaks to communicate. grace is sobbing. rocky and adrian are purring with pride.

UPDATE: i messed up my math on the size of the egg and have corrected it. adjusted, this little fresh baby eridian's carapace is now Two Inches Tall and approximately 1.9" in diameter, with only a scant inch added in diameter by its legs, and a fraction of an inch in height. Tiny!!!

for an idea of how Utterly Small this baby is, take the first two fingers of each hand and stack them vertically on top of each other. congrats, that is the height of this itty bitty baby. *maybe* add a ring finger in there for the maximum it can stretch its teeny baby legs out. they're just. the smallest.
