The split of the Western faction affected more than just the Court - it also affected women's fashion!
On the left vs right: Noron women's fashion vs Soron women's fashion. I was unaware that jjokmeori was used outside the palace in 1684 so there's that, but the main differences:
Noron women wore their chignon on the shoulder, as opposed to Soron women, who wore them higher. Their jacket ribbons were also positioned lower. Other differences include the width and color of their sleeves.
