I made this in a frenzied delirium shortly after this episode came out, but never posted it anywhere. Sorry Jacob.
Can you tell I’ve watch all of Greys Anatomy
Redfall really succeeded where other games failed in that I will purposefully jump off a cliff because 1) its almost impossible to die from fall damage 2) I like the way Jacob screams in pain when I break his legs.
peep the new theme

1998 Film Mistoffelees Watch: What Have We Learned Today?
I’ve completed my Mistoffelees-focused rewatch and have put together some vague headcanons about him. I added a bunch of extra storylines that I just made up to go along with everything, so there’s also that. I’ll have to pay more attention to other characters to build on some of these, but this is what I have for now:
NOTE: Some of these headcanons may directly contradict more official sources about this version. This is more about what I see than what I believe was intended. I’m constructing my own interpretation of the events and characters based on how things came across to me as I watched. Cats is such a vague and weird show that I think that’s what everyone should do.
To begin with, in direct contradiction of Jacob Brent, for which I apologize, if that’s a big deal, I’m going with the idea of Mistoffelees as the son of Bustopher Jones. I have no idea who his mom is, so she might not be around. Neither is Bustopher, really. His life just doesn’t have a place for children, so Misto was just sort of left with his humans and other neighborhood cats. He only sees his father a few times a year and now that he’s come of age, he hopes that he might make a good impression and get to join Bustopher at some of his clubs. If the gentlemen who spoil Bustopher saw a tiny version of him, they’d definitely feed him too.
Because his actual parents weren’t really around, Skimble became a sort of substitute dad for Misto.
Misto lives in a large house with a bunch of other cats. Out of all his housemates, Tugger was the only one who ever paid much attention to him. All the other spiked collar cats (Bombalurina, Demeter, and Jemima) also live there, but Jemima’s only a baby and the other two were more focused on whatever was going on with Macavity.
Misto is shy around humans. When guests are over, he hides on the other side of the house. He prefers to sleep in dark corners. His humans are aware that there’s something odd about him, but only the children believe that it’s magic. They keep trying to seek him out and spy on him to catch him doing magic. In response, he figured out an invisibility spell.
Every since Tugger learned that Misto could use magic to open doors, he’s been kind of obsessed with him. After spending an entire night opening the back door every five minutes, Misto decided that he wasn’t going to reveal his powers casually. He doesn’t want to be asked for favors every hour of the day and night.
Misto still does occasionally use his powers to mess with the humans and cats in the house. It’s good practice.
I’m still not sure about any sibling headcanons, but Victoria is either his sister or his best friend. Tumblebrutus and Alonzo are two other potential friends or siblings.
Misto finds Tugger attractive, but for the longest time, he saw him as shallow and boring. But, the events of the Jellicle Ball led to Tugger showing a different side of his character and that changed things. They had a talk after the ball and Misto nuzzled him once and then ran away, because he knew he’d chase him.
Once Macavity realizes how Old Deuteronomy managed to escape him, there will probably be trouble.
So, that’s what I think now. Most of it is just extra stories that I made up based on nothing, honestly, but it was fun.
The next rewatch will be following Demeter.
