Getting the patrons out of the bar was easy enough. If dogs loved anything, it was being outside. Make those mostly-human dogs, make sure the place has a shitload of booze and throw in a BBQ, and it was the simplest thing in the whole world. It was a regular affair for parties at Lou Pine's to go off-base, and usually that meant that whatever activities were going to happen were basically guaranteed to include potential property damage. That made it even more appealing for most to attend.
"So!" Brava screamed out over the crowd. She stood in the middle of the fenced-in field, and addressed her patrons. "I kinda sorta ordered a mechanical bull?" She gestured toward the giant box off to her side that looked like a prop from Jurassic Park. "But me and the guy kinda disagreed on the definition of the word 'mechanical'." Hands up, air quotes enabled. "See, to me that means it plugs in, takes coins, what the fuck ever. But he says.."
There was a grunt and a huff of a noise from the box and the sound of hooves stomping.
"That I kinda sorta never actually said the word 'mechanical.' Who knows? We're not here to talk about the past! Let's talk about the present! Keeping bulls is fucking expensive!" Probably. Maybe. She didn't google it but it sounded expensive. "So the majestic matador that manages to fell the great beast is gonna drink for free!"
She lifted her hands, offering up an array of long, thin blades. Red capes draped over her arms for the taking. "So who wants to live forever?!" Let it never be said that there was ever a dull party when Brava was involved.
