Leí que en el Ray Lives AU, Ray y Peter pasan por varias cosas para encontrarse (shenanigans, angst y fluff) ¿Podría explicarnos o describirnos un poco sobre esas situaciones? Por favor. Si aún no lo tiene muy claro en su historia, no se sienta obligado de responder.

I don’t have much on the shenanigans other than a few notes but I don’t mind explaining some of the ideas I had for them!!

My favorite is the first one, after Ginnie brings Pete home and he and Ray reunite. It’s very fluffy and sweet, with a lot of tears included. There’s some banter here and there and Ray makes Pete take a shower while he and his mom set up the guest bedroom for him to stay in (spoiler, he doesn’t end up staying in the guest room ;3) but then after they have dinner together they have a hurt/comfort moment on the porch swing out back talking about how Ray’s alive and where Pete went.

There’s another very sickly sweet fluffy scene where Pete has to help Ray take a bath (he can’t stand in the shower and needs help reaching his back since turning aggravates his gut wound) because I love some fluffy non sxual intimacy <3

The angsty ideas are mostly one or both of the boys having nightmares (as you do after participating in a death march) Pete mostly with nightmares of Ray being dead, and all this being a hallucination. Ray’s nightmares are mostly just of the walk, and waking up alone on the road. Though there’s also the angst of Ray dealing with all the complications that came with his continued existence, like his missing leg, the fact he can’t really eat solid food anymore, his blind eye, etc.

The rest are just small headcannons on my part, like I had an idea of Ray being into whittling and wood carving, and making small wooden animals to represent the other walkers (like a rabbit for Stebbins, a baby deer for Curley, a dove for Art, etc) another was that Ray’s mom plays the piano and she and Ray will sit together and sing old songs sometimes (mostly old Irish songs)

Another was Ray taking Pete to his and his fathers small shooting range, and Ray talks to Pete a little more about his father and his wish for the carbine, and how much his father influenced his life.

There’s a lot of tiny stuff here and there in between but that’s most of what I have right now :D
